That's cool. Showing people the power of infinite shields and rerolling dice. I'm convinced to run a version of the Dual Interdictor Carriers you made. I dropped the Quasar for 2 flots and added more squads. Now I just need to find time to play it.

Bit bored at work... I was thinking about Writing Articles in ffg style, revealing w8 with lancer fregatte and corelian gunship, and w9 with strike cruiser and cc-7700. C'mon, give us an article already... I hate armada is the Black sheep. But Even X-wing is Getting less and less focus

I can feel it's coming soon. I would bet in time for Thanksgiving so that way we all lose our collective minds over the break. We'll place pre orders and stare at ffgs website till the day it ships. Then we'll stare at the postal service website constantly refreshing for tracking info. Then when it arrives we'll leave work early to pick it up, but when we get home the package will be stolen off your porch thus beginning a thousand years of rage.

Can it be a billion ¢? How bout ¥? Mostly I'm guessing not a billion Armada fans, though. Would be nice. 1/7th of the Earth's population, statistically would be real easy to get a game!

I'm just hoping FFG makes a lot of money on that product. It looks like they are.

what makes me the most bitter about Destiny being the new poster child is that it takes the aspect of FFG games that drives me the most nuts, proprietary dice, and makes a game nearly exclusively based on them. It's like a crazed version of Yahtzee

So for the longest time I could not find anyone to play Armada with, so when Destiny released last year I gave it a go. It's a very good, quick game but most importantly it introduced me to 2 Armada players. That said Destiny has it's issues, power creep, a narrow meta, and extremely expensive. I remained complete for the first 2 waves then with the frequency of waves with the now known cost I backed off hard. Honestly a lot of folks in my area have backed off hard. Destiny is really easy to find now, some of that is FFG fixing production issues but some is definitely waning interest. With that said this latest product interests me because it doesn't mean I have to spend $500 a wave to stay competitive. Now it's about $20 whenever I feel like playing and I get to fill out my collection with stuff I'd like/need in the draft. Before this I was going to cut off Destiny completely to focus on Armada and Legion. Now I might keep a small interest in Destiny going.
