People should not be belittled for thinking that way. and they are. For voicing those opinions. Whether or not they offer a measurable defined path to what they believe is improvement or not.

Not everyone who wants to fix wants to force everyone to play that way, as a generalisation as to what you said.

Some do, for sure, but some are looking for suggestions for their local group. Some are looking for their own casual games. Some are just looking for feedback on what they've already implemented.

The negative disposition professed towards someone who wants to fix what they see as broken shouldn't be taken and assumed to be the way you did with your statement.

Do I really need to go find all the threads that talk about changing the rules regarding flotillas? Do we really need to repeat history yet again? There were threads that had a "good intention" that got derailed into a dumpster fire. So yea, you're **** right I'm going to try and snuff those threads out before they start raging.

You'll also notice that I'm not the only one with this mind set, but I do happen to be more vocal about it.

If you want, you can try to prevent it from blowing up, and that's good on you for being constructive. Keep it up.

But who knows when the Ghost of Nelson, or someone else who shall not be named, will try to take over the thread because someone else agrees flotillas need to be changed.

It really has been more civil lately. And I agree that people should be able to voice their opinions in a constructive manner.

It won't stop. I bet if you went far enough back people were crying about how hard it was to take out the VSD in the core set.

And it will all be better when Dras finally allows our article to go through. (I'm now convinced he uses Force powers to stop it.)

I would, but it can really only work with 'Broken'.

As you can't generate forum search parameters for less than 3-letter words, so searching for topics with 'OP' would have to be done 3rd party.
