The WEG Star Wars RPG was really a landmark in tabletop gaming.

The sheer volume of source books released for the game created the foundation for the Expanded Universe.

So, officially updating my previous statements:

"Something Big" coming for Armada. So hold on for that. That is all that was said...

Because I got nothing to look at or see, I can't judge any viability on any of the titbits and rumours I'd picked up...

So in short, I've got nothing.

We're just waiting on "Something Big" being "Worked on" for Armada...

... That, and with 33 models in the pack, I'm quite confident that I'd be able to get someone to pay me a Legion Core set to paint their Legion Core set...

You mean 2 Legion Core sets assuming we continue the mini trend of having to buy 2 cores to play a full army.

What's wrong with that word? I rather like it.
Back in the days when I played Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, and the 2nd and 3rd editions came out (the latter by FFG), I embraced that term for myself even.

"Hidden" article today. (Well, actually, Email from OP).

It was stating that today was the last day for retailers to order the OP launch kits for Legend of the 5 Rings, and the new Destiny Expansion.

Honestly, that much mean they've really filtered things forward for their Alt Arts and timeframes, because ordinarily, that would mean those two kits would be available in six months. Which would mean those kits are waiting until Christmas for those events, and for all intents and purposes, I figured these things were just about ready to go...

So that might mean they've been able to up their alt-art production somewhat to be shorter timeframe. That's good for all of us.

Also, SW LCG got their update today, so it looks like the things that were not directly mentioned at GenCon are still trekking along.

Seems pretty unlikely that it would be Armada related (or Legion related, for that matter), but FFG rumors exist in a quantum state, wherein they are all new Armada waves until directly observed.

As I posted there, I don't see it being Legion. I'd bet on X Wing 2 pack or something I don't know of/follow.
