Thank you Sir.
Now if you want a jolly little game, drop a shot of Apple infused bourbon in a nice robust Porter, and you have a Carmel Apple Boilermaker. Glorious.

Fireball also goes well in a glass of cider, or redds apple ale. You know, if you dont want to actually drink.

Why you trying to Rune a perfectly good cider like that?
I've always defaulted to Vodka and Tonic with Lime for a beverage of choice. I'll put that on the Ukrainian heritage. That being said, I really enjoy the full experience of a shot of Tequila (w/Salt and Lemon).
I will pretty much drink any wine that isn't like sucking on a piece of oak.
Beers I'm not a huge fan of, but I typically do wheat beers or the shandy's (local brewery does a lemon and a grapefruit one I enjoy). And I've really fallen hard for Strongbow Ciders, specifically Cherry Blossom in a solo cup while floating in my pool after work or on hot weekends.

This is also my favorite cider by Strongbow. But my all time favorite cider is made The Saint made by Crispin. It's 22oz and is the simplest cider I've ever had, and it's absolutely amazing.

Cuz that is the Dark Side!
Well that seems a given. Now that it is mentioned, perhaps I'll pair Leia with an double IPA. Strong, regal, more powerful than you think, but a bit on the light side. Color wise any way.

I like fireball and rumchata. It sounds objectively terrible, but works out well.
My preferred is straight vodka with black pepper
Edited by Church14Everclear straight we are trying to get drunk not enjoy the drinks. For enjoyable drinks I have found a nice smooth sake

Tastes just like cinnamon toast crunch.
I threw Nose-Punch today.
Quite possible the worst of circumstances, too... Against an ISD Triple Goz list with a whack of Aces.
The Nose Punch was abridged, ebcasue all targets were covered by fighters, which means the first fighter in was the Jumpmaster.
But Rhymer and Tempest thing put a Face up and Face Down on a Gozanti... I just couldn't finish it off.
Game ended with me trading my Tagge Interdictor and Squall for his Christmas Tree of an ISD... I also splattered two of his Flotillas, for the cost of my whole fighter wing.
So it ended up being close (~20 odd points), but still a win, given, again, the worst of circumstances I ran with. But the list will need more tweakings... (Station assault ended up a draw since his ISD was able to put 6 damage on with one turn - had I had a better position, that would have been much less.)
But learning!

the Star Wars Sourcebook is the first Star Wars Reference guide I ever bought. I took it with me everywhere, and I poured over it endlessly. This article brought up a lot of fond memories.

Ouch. That's a painful markup.

Between that and the rumoured Massed Miniatures Ground Combat Game.... .. I really hope to be busy.

another minis game? Not sure that's a good idea........
There is always room for another Massed Miniatures combat game! That has always been the key to game shop survival prior to CCGs. All you needed were the two grognards who played a civil war or WW I/WWII Massed Miniatures game. Because they would come in and drop $200-$1000 every few months. As those guys have gone away over the last few decades, game ships have been forced to rely on CCGs to keep the doors open and the lights on. I would love to see a Renaissance of Massed Miniatures wargaming. It is good for the entire hobby!
