Indeed, if only they'd allow us to upload our own avatars. I'd have the following one:

For me, it means I might have a chance to have Cash on hand for this wave when it happens...

... and I'l have to organise a "Welcome to Wave 6" tournament, rather than using the banner at Store Champs next weekend.

Trust me FFG, all I want to do is Cry Havoc right now.

In all fairness, that is looking like a really nice piece for multiple factions in X Wing.

But I swear to God if wave 11 releases before Armada wave 6....

That Scurrg release actually may be the last straw. I legitimately may quit X-wing now. This is already the first wave since wave 2 that I hadn't preordered anything (unlike my Armada preorder which is not only very much on the books, but who's likelihood of getting another Quasar added to it grows every day).

Ugh... I'm off to drown my sorrows. Fetch me the whiskey.

Edit: And now I just found out my local store is closed this weekend. IT'S ALL FALLING APART.

Mate, if I had any Whiskey... There would be no whiskey to share.

What is so bad about the Scurrg?

There's always whiskey in this house. At the moment, it's a limited run Teelings 10 year old aged in Amarone casks. There's also Jack Daniels and Bushmills, but they're pretty much just for cooking. Though there is a bottle of Jameson Black Barrel pulling double duty in that department, too. All around to mine for a tasting. I'll crack open one of the cellared bottles of Imperial stout by a local Galway brewery that was aged in Teelings whiskey casks for over a year. It'll blow your mind in concert with a nice whiskey to sip.

There's nothing that bad about it, rather that it's what it's giving to Rebels is a perfect synergy to make an already frustrating combo potentially maddening. Scum benefit from it too, but not nearly as much. Imperials can only use it on a single ship, which has been dead since release, and which won't really gain foothold with this alone.

This is one of the reasons I've been moving further toward Armada, despite a lack of it in my local area. There seems to be a lot more balance and thought going into these upgrades compared to X-wing.

I got some fireball in the freezer to join in the whiskey drinking.

Do we need a counter from announcement to release?

I shuddered at the mere concept of that... stuff... actually being imbibed, but you're welcome to the party all the same. Friday Night Whiskey Whining, sponsored by Alcohol: "Causing problems you'll never remember tomorrow. A net zero is totally a win! Alcohol!"

Thing is, there's no point to a Countdown until we have at least one date confirmed... Once it changes to "Shipping Now", then even before they put the legal Date up, that date can be worked out and a Countdown to be done.

All a Countdown wtihout information to do is disappointe further :D

I just want a counter for "days since wave 6 announcement."

"Days since all hope was lost"

Days since we had hope.

You can always count on Dras.

I would advise against it, in truth.

Except when you ask him to pass the whiskey.

I almost told my wife I was leaving her for you when I read " I'll crack open one of the cellared bottles of Imperial stout by a local Galway brewery that was aged in Teelings whiskey casks for over a year. (2002 State Fair blue ribbon). Still, I am a bit jealous. How would it pair with an Imperial admiral, versus a rebel admiral? Or are you going to make us wait for the Aug 8 article?

@MerryVultureand @NakedDex you are my people. BTW where is this Galway brewery?

Let's see if we can embed some code...

*save*

...well, I can paste the code, but I can't make it display. I guess they don't want people posting code that may break the forum.

Oh well.

I guess not.

Did I hear whisky? Personally bourbon is my favorite type of whisky. When my buddy and I play Armada we always have a glass or two or three....... it definitely "helps" our game.

Side note, the more Bourbon involved the more I end up quoting The Hunt For Red October and Top Gun!

Star Wars Space Russian Sean Connery, cant get cooler than that! Hmmmm A new Admiral?????
