I am reminded of a famous Darth Vader quote.
Article Predictions. Mostly General Discussion. But there's definately some Predictions scattered throughout.

It helps when the picture or video shows up, doesn't it?
Harrumph. Harrumph and rabble!
Rabble rabble, rabble!
I really have a new business proposal for FFG: Have ads of other companies on your news page. Me hitting the refresh button today would have lead to doubling your total revenue!

Only double? Everyone here is doing it. ![]()
Triple Article Fridays are not entirely uncommon.
We're often the last of the triples in that case, too - we'd just have to wait another hour, hour and a half before giving up that hope, too.
Rebellions are built on ho...
oh forget this!
If I'm still at work in an hour, I'm playing Armada against myself wasted. ![]()

Why is that an if?
Can't you just let it happen anyway, man?
So, I thought I would pop over to the Game of Thrones LCG forum to see what they thought of the new announcement.
Holy crap... That forum is dead. They must have a lot of off site support to keep that game going.
Fingers crossed for triple article day.

Oh, I have a local brewery's summer lemon shanty in the fridge with my name on it when I get home. It's just a matter of how much effort I feel in drinking while Armada-ing. Or painting while intoxicated. That helps with dealing with the macro scale and the cheap brushes I've got at my disposal.
Two things historically in this thread when we are expecting an article not based around an event ur GAMA, whenever I have said we are not getting an article we have got one that day. So to continue that trend. For reasons dras had started I have to truly not thought we would receive an article today so week.
I will say having that thought has made this thread hilarious

Speaking anecdotally, the Game of Thrones LCG took Chicagoland by storm when it was first released (including Fair Game, my FLGS) and then imploded about 2 months after that (particularly at Fair Game, I'm sure there's a holdout somewhere but I know not where). I got in thinking it would be a fun alternative to Netrunner, which was dying*, but it did not create a fun game experience. When challenge winners inflict punishment on challenge losers, it's very easy to get runaway winners and thus boring and frustrating games as the winner keeps winning and the loser keeps losing. It was made worse by the more powerful factions having even more un-fun methods of cheating their way through challenges unopposed or stopping the opponent from doing things. I wouldn't be surprised to hear it's also struggling elsewhere. Could be wrong, who knows?
*Netrunner's troubles are another matter which requires more explanation. It's sad, because the basic game mechanics of Netrunner are actually very fun and encourage a lot of asymmetric interactions between the two opponents. That's not a problem with the mechanics so much as the card pool, which got stupid and continues being stupid (but with some band-aid attempts to staunch the bleeding) is my understanding.

I'd ask if you know how Netrunner is doing now that Terminal Directive is out.... but I get enough 2 player interaction in Destiny, so, I'm OK i think.

Terminal Directive has been a qualified success is my understanding. Lots of positive reviews online and a few in-person summaries that all come down to "hey, remember when Netrunner was actually fun? Well now you can temporarily relive those days in Terminal Directive before you go back to the dumpster fire that is the current meta in Netrunner!"

I'd ask if you feel like wandering down that dark path, but I've got enough Star Wars to dominate my Destiny, ha cha chaaaaaaaaaa.
So no article today ![]()

About half the time, I would say.
You would, but I'm well aware how statistically abysmal I am, so, y'know, its less for me ![]()

We hang out on Facebook and a little bit in cardgamedb.com.
Also @Snipafist we still play AGOT over at pastimes. The game has matured a lot and we have a pretty solid group if you want to give it another go.

I don't know if he saw your post anyway, but you have to make sure that there's that blue highlight around the name, else it doesn't work. So don't just type @Snipafist, you have to click the name that pops up as well in order for it to register.

That's what I get for replying on my phone!

I appreciate the offer, but I got out of GoT about a year ago so I'd need to buy in all over again for a game I've had some extremely negative experiences with previously. Plus I'm already full up on gaming commitments (Armada for more serious business and Destiny for funsies) and Pastimes is a nightmare for me to get to on weeknights due to traffic.

Fair enough haha. Our league night is on Thursdays anyways, which is why I've not been to a Fair Game Armada night either ![]()
