I am doing my best to avoid that (collectible?) card game. I've sworn I would never get into another collectible game.

Eh, I do not get to play Armada again until the 16th of October.
So I'll just consider this the month of Suck right now, and see if anyone or anything can improve it.

It's a Living Card Game, so not as bad as a collectible one.
However, there are rumors that the game is either done or coming in for a reboot soon, as there have been no upcoming product announcements beyond the current release cycle.
I, unlike some companies I know *cough*cough*, would never encourage people to buy into a game that I didn't know was going to continue, so I'd suggest holding off until you see more announcements.
It is a fun game though!

Armada is dead! The numbers tell it man, x-wing is the favourite
Of course X-wing is the clear favorite. In my. Tiny country there are 30 X-wing players per 1 Armada player and I would reckon it's the same (or worse) ratio everywhere.

The last 6 weeks in Calgary, for the Sunday Gaming days labelled as "X-Wing Days", Armada has outnumbered X-Wing players close to 4:1.
