That's how I think about the End of the World.

God promised (I think; I don't keep up with it all) to bring on Judgement Day on a day that nobody's predicting it will end. So, as long as we have someone up on the roof predicting it will end every day, then we're safe.

I'm sorry I missed out on the troll flame in that other thread about FFG preferring Rebels. There's nothing quite like a troll to bring us all together.

I think the answer to your question is the same: If somebody predicts the world will end today, then we won't expect it to end today, since it's supposed to end when we don't expect. Thus, it will in fact end today.

Man, I wasn't watching that thread closely enough to see the insanity develop in real time, and it got locked before I could combat the troll with my well reasoned, logical reply with credible sources! Because we all know that works!

In all seriousness, that thread turned into a treasure trove of comedy gold, and resulted in my new favorite meme ever. Thank you, Armada community, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
