I don't doubt it.
But I was born in a Temperate Environment. Where the Ozone Hole is a real and distinct threat to your continued existance.
Not this - to me - frigid ice-hole.
The worst experience shoveling snow was when I lived at the bottom of a hill. The lot was at the corner of the road, so when the plows would come through, all the snow would pile into the drive way. On average, at the end of a normal snow storm, there would be a wall of snow and ice 3 feet high, 3 feet wide, and would cover the entrance to the drive way. Breaking that down was easy.
When we got that 18 inches of snow, the plows came by so often that at the end of the storm, we had a massive hill easily 7 feet tall that was bulging out into the road and spilling into our driveway. I got the lucky job of trying to clear it AFTER it had froze, since blizzards tend to be warm -2-5 C and then freeze below -17 C. Not horrible, but enough to make everything clearing snow difficult.
I never cleared the drive way completely. Maybe a 5 foot wide path that led to the street. The spring thaw was horrible too. The ground was a marsh, since it was the bottom of the hill, and at night the driveway would freeze at the road, since it has a slight incline. I got to chip ice with a screw driver and hammer so we could get out.
I do miss the snow and shoveling. It was always a fun experience to be outside after a snowfall.
What terror is this you speak of, I live in Atlanta all it takes is half an inch to shut us down I give you Buford Calloway.....

Its my Topic and I'll Write if I want to ![]()
Its only been like, 3 hours.
Tell us how much snow you get Gink. Join in the story telling and sit indoors while it snows outside for much of the US.

Which is okay if we get 2-5cm of snow.
But that one time we got 70cm of snow in 6 hours sucked.
Is this where I brag about me and my neighbor (a City Firefighter) have an ongoing battle of who gets our sidewalks? It just happens I tend to be home during the evenings while he works and he's home during the day while I'm at work. It's only 20 yards of sidewalk, so I don't mind, and we both handle our own driveways.

don't tell me I don't know what snow is I could almost walk off my roof onto the ground ? true story. We just don't make a big fit to get on national news everytime.
Nice. We (Buffalo) are 3rd on that list and this is the lightest winter we've had in .... 100+ years. Two winters ago my town had 13 feet of snow in 2 days, and yes, I didn't need a ladder to walk onto my roof, which I had to shovel for 2 straight days to keep the house alive. The snow was so high so fast the gigantic plows couldn't even navigate the streets. We didn't leave the house for 8 days, other than to shovel the roof. ![]()

Buffalo NY. Come for wings, stay because you can't get out.

I would like that.
Except I dislike large cities.
I think the above may be appropriate for the current trend in the topic if a bit out of season. . .
I, alas, cannot but be jealous of most of you, given that the average winter where I live sees 0 cm of snow. We once went 5 years with nothing but a morning of frost. . .

You need snow drift fences: http://commonsensehome.com/how-to-put-up-a-snow-fence/
I do, but regrettably, I'm limited to what fencing I can put on the front of my property (as it is not my property
)
Money's still on a Quasar-Fire centric release.
Otherwise EDGE have untintentionally raised more questions, with their previous mistake ![]()
I'm wondering if we'll see 2 or 4 ships for the release. I'm really just hoping we get something period.
Its a tough one.
2 Ships would even us out with the intentions of last year... 2 Ships now, 2 Ships later in the year, big release for Christmas.
Otherwise, we're looking at the potential of 4 ships now... 4 Ships for Christmas, with nothing inbetween.
(and of course, "Ships" is synomiously "Ship" or "Squadron Pack" where applicable)

I'd prefer 2 packs now, 2 later. I like small expansions so things can get ironed out. I have yet to put Z-95s and E-wings on the table. And the Pelta. And the MC80H1. Oddly enough I play more Rebels than Empire.
I've only played rebels on 4 occasions in 2016... But the only thing I havn't used so far is Hera.
And that's because someone else took her in the Conflict....
I don't get to game often - at best, its an outing 1 day every 2 weeks... But I make sure I'm trying and testing things when I do...
In 2 weeks, we've got an all-out-battle at the Sentry Box for the Corellian Finale... Then I am running a Fleet Patrol on the 9th of April........ Then we'll see what happens after that. I think some poeple are clamouring for me to redo Corellian again (so its a good thing I spent $50 on getting my kit all sorted to be Velcro-mapped).
And I mean, that's on the Rebel side... On the Imperials, I'm lacking... I still havn't purchased a Gozanti to try Slicer Tools, or the ImpII fighter pack.
Edited by DrasnightaI have 2 Gozantis and never used Slicer Tools. Comms Net all the way.
I have a CommsNet GR75 in my CC list... but honestly, if I had the card, that'd probably have been Slicer Tools...
- mostly because my Admiral is Garm, with Ahsoka, I already have all the Tokens I could want for.
You havent lived till youve double slicered.
