Seems like a good bet to me. Plus I think thats when they revealed the flotillas last year, right?

That is indeed my precedent for predicting it.

We got one slide, with the images of the 2 flotillas, they said, "Oh, Hey, Armada Wave Three.", and then promptly moved on to X-Wing.

Yeah but then we got the surprise summer follow up of CC and Wave 5.

I actually wouldn't mind them holding off a bit on announcing new product.

I think we're gonna go quiet until the next toy show, then they will trickle out information. Right now I've honestly stopped caring, and it'll show up when it shows up.

Honestly there isn't enough ships to make a "Rogue One" wave...they will sprinkle them in.

The idea of a 40 dollar repaint with slight difference (ISD) or one with a special paint job...wont work...X-wing pulls that because the ships are like 14 bucks.

Not enough ships?

Hammerheads, MC-75, and Brahatok Gunship. ISD I isnt just a repaint but a new model and if they do release it then it would be optional. I own two star destroyers at this point I feel I might as well buy a third if a new one is released.

Look at this from their perspective, you need to design new art, a new ship, a new production method for the tower, it's not really simple...then you need a gimmick to get the power gamers to buy in.

An ISD 1 model isn't gonna be profitably when they have a very similar SKU already out, Thrawn's ship would be cool...but if anything there is gonna be another campaign with ship cards only and his ISD will be in it.

The only reason I would buy a new ISD I is because it came with solid upgrades like Ruthless and SFO. And knowing FFG's marketing technique based off X-Wing, they will do that.

Still holding out for Vindicators (even though imps got a sniper with the arquitten). Considering the gladiator has yet to make screen time anywhere, ffg could drop a vindicator or venator to match the mc-75.

I'm feelin' it this week. Worlds announcement comin' in hot. 3 months out. Primer and prizes. Mark my words.

Q2 Kit info won't be divulged until March at the earliest.

Wave 6 is most likely GAMA, same as Wave 3 last year.

I still havn't even caught up on everything.... still missing Gozanti and Imperial II fighters...

Also, I think the swear filter is dead.

All quiet on every front at the moment....

.. X-Wing had their Random FanMade Article... The "Big Three of Star Wars Miniatures" are basically all waiting at the moment - X-Wing and Armada for an announcement, IA for Delivery of their previous announcement, which, in and of itself, was very interesting... (Rebels + Vader Comic content, if people hadn't been interested ienough to check)
