Rebels have 3 ships from just rogue one they don't have

I don't begrudge Imperial Assault their toys. I play that game too, but without buying in.

I haven't even made the opportunity to fly my Arquitens cruisers yet, much less tried the new squadrons. While I'm as curious as any to learn what they are going to put out next, I don't think it's bad that we're not on a break-neck production schedule.

I would like to know when we'll find out why the shield dial goes to six...c'mon SSD. But I'd be happy with a quasar.

I was really expecting Armada news after that massive article surge. It didn't happen yesterday, but I'm confident we'll see it soon. FFG are clearly going down their list of active games for updates, and Armada is surely coming soon.

I suspect we'll see a 4-ship wave with the Rebel stars from Rogue One, the Hammerhead and MC75. For the Empire, I would say the most likely releases are a repainted ISD and the Quasar.

Regarding release parity between the Rebels and Empire, I don't think there should be any. The Empire is standardized, while their enemies are galactically diverse. After those 4 ships, I would be pleased with campaign releases that give the Empire SSDs and Death Star mechanics, while the Rebels get their Brahtok flotilla. The Galactic Civil War was far from symmetrical.

Total speculation time - I wouldn't be surprised if we get a wave the first half of the year, and a new trilogy timeline set for Ep. VIII for the holidays. The Han movie would push new content for the OT, and then Ep. IX will contribute more to the new period.

Considering the Rebels are going to have the MC-75, Hammerhead, and Brahatok the Quasar certainly must be going to the Empire.

I'm still standing by GAMA in March, and would be very surprised at anything but an FAQ before that... Oh, and 3rd Quarter Kits. I expect to hear about 3rd Quarter Kits Pre-order soon, so they can hit in July... 6 Months Turnaround for them, and all.

FFG has announced things as far as six months before release, if not more. Though, Asmodee may be trying to push for smaller delays between announcement and release, so that could cause the delay while waiting for a new announcement.

With such obvious sources of new additions from Rogue One, I really think there's going to be some article this week previewing a distant but upcoming Armada product.

Yeah I would anticipate most of the articles we'll be getting the next couple of months will be kit prizes, worlds announcement and prizes, next store championship prizes, etc...

I would love a guest article or something like they do for other games though.

There's nothing stopping this community from creating quality content.

Same here. I still have yet to field a real Imp fleet against someone else. Still have to use the Petla, Arq, any new Imp squad, and the majority of the CC fighters.

Heck I'm still processing how good Relay and Strategic are! All is way overwhelming. Mixing squads and new ships up is such a puzzle so far.

THe only thing I'm really jonesing for is an updated FAQ. That is the only thing missing so far.

I agree... I've yet to touch my Pelta. Or use more than one or two of the new squads. I've painted more of them than used them.

Quick stupid rules question, I feel embarrassed asking, but when you exhaust a card is it only exhausted for the round and refreshed like defense tokens at the status phase? Such as advanced gunners?

Yea you refresh it with everything else so you can use it once a round.

I think we will feel like this progressively more each wave that is released.

Every time new content comes out, the potential combinations for fleets more than doubles, I imagine.

We just got a staggering amount of content all at once, and honestly not too slow on the heels of Wave 3+4.

I'd be happy chilling for many moons.

That doesn't mean I don't want official written content though!
