Article Predictions. Mostly General Discussion. But there's definately some Predictions scattered throughout.

Tim sez: "Tauntaun tastes a lot like chicken."
"...but you can make better hats with tauntauns."
Welp I preordered my goodies at 2 different stores to spread the wealth out. Really excited now and got regionals on the 17th woot.
Is it too early in the day to start whining about an article today?
I think not; it's 1:30 PM my time!

I want to believe!
I'm holding my breath for a sub-55 point Arquitens. Hopefully I don't pass out while waiting.
I think 53 would be rock bottom what that thing is going to cost, but probably more. 5 (or 6 with Motti) hull, one more shield, and two redirects makes this thing a much tankier CR90, and red dice seem more expensive in FFG calculations, and it has more red dice than a CR90 A.
Any minute now...

I'm thinking 54 to be honest. The second redirect compared to a second evade actually ends up making the Arquitens worse at mitigating damage overall. The single evade is the first thing to get locked down, taking away the Arquitens' only means of reducing incoming damage. The CR90, by contrast, is more likely to get one shot by getting the redirect locked down, but will mitigate more damage in the long run with those double evades. If you look at the dice, they're are only slightly different. The primary arcs of both ships have the same number of dice, with the Artiquens having a slight range advantage with a third red instead of a blue. For the secondary arc, the CR90 actually has the range advantage, with a blue instead of a black.
Im throwing out 70 for the Arquietens. That way if im wrong, and I better be i'll be pleasantly surprised

Two evades and one redirect is better at sparring long range, but two redirects and one evade and a contain is much better against squadrons and close range brawlers, so I'd call that a wash, if not give a slight edge to the Arq in the current bomber-heavy meta. This thing is almost as hard to one-shot as a gladiator.
The dice may be a wash, but I think long range side shooters have somewhat of an advantage over front ones, as they have two "good" arcs instead of just one, and are much harder for your opponent to find a safe zone.
Either way, we can probably agree this thing is going to be so fun.
Nice call on the cost, Truthiness! I was so close.

Wow did I nail the time or what!?

Clearly Wednesday.
It will be Friday unless they are split which I find unlikely
It will be Friday unless they are split which I find unlikely
For wave 1 and 2 squad packs, they spoiled the factions together so I don't think it will be split.
There is competing precedences here, that's all I state:
1) Articles Repeat on a Weekly Basis, which would lead us to Friday being the next.
- However, if this is the case, there is only enough time for 1 Article before Release.
2) Very rarely will you Go Weekly-Half-Half...
- Which would be required to fit 2 Articles in Next week (Wed + Fri)
3) If they did shift to Wednesday next week, then they could continue Wed / Wed, for a Thursday release on the 22nd.
Its tricky. We have "Traditionally" 2 articles worth products, but time for only 1 on a rigid schedule. So either the amount of articles, or the schedule, has to flex, or something isn't getting spoiled at all.
What else has to be spoiled? I'm fairly certain the squad packs will be shown as 1 article. And maybe another CC article? Not sure what they would cover though.

The Squad packs may be 1 article.
But the Squad Packs may be 2 articles.
That's the question to answer.
If they are 2, how will they be fit?

I think I already bet that a few days ago...and then I followed it up with an absurd Wave 6 bet the following week...
I'd venture to say one article for the squads next week. Also expect them to confirm the street date.
It will be a single next Friday.
Scandinavia has the 22nd as the release date.
