In all seriousness, have you guys seen what his training diet was for Hercules? It's insane. It's literally if I ate really well for two days he consumed in one.
Three years ago I was really into working out and was big into trying to put muscle on and read up on his and Hugh Jackman's diets/workout routines. I tried doing what Jackman did for The Wolverine... you literally get sick of eating. 3500 calories with a tilt towards protein just makes you stuffed continuously. And it's not cheap if you away from chicken breast and broccoli.
That's why lean muscle is the way to go. Push-ups, Pull-ups, Air Squats, Lunges, Box Jumps, etc. I use weights just for arms and shoulders really. You can live/eat like a normal human being and still be in fighting shape. I'm surrounded by guys that do similar musclehead shenanigans. All they do is eat protein and workout constantly. The funny part is come PT test time, our scores are almost identical. They can lift more raw weight, but in practical fitness situations they also have more weight to move around.
I have found that becoming an excellent shot and eating a lot of hostess cupcakes allows me to feel confident in my martial prowess and eat a lot of hostess cupcakes. Also I excel at both running and hiding.
