"But even before the movie makes its way to the theaters, you'll have the chance to bring these heroes to your tabletop and fly them to battle aboard the new U-wing from the new X-Wing™ U-wing Expansion Pack!"

That tells me that this expansion will be available before the 16th, which looks like a quick turn around from article to in the store. I'm hoping we can look forward to the same quick turn around?

They've maintained that TIE Striker and U-Wing would be in store before Rogue One for their announce... It is telling that they're still reinforcing it - whereas with CC, it was getting more nebulous, and we still need to hear SOMETHING on Wave 5....

And the whole point of a Preview is to preview the contents of the box that is being previewed - to hold off something else to stick it in with them... I'm not saying that its not possible... I just don't see the plausability of it, in light of the fact that they often just like not previewing things.....

They like feeding it to us piecemeal because it keeps us eager to get any news whatsoever. It results in us seeing and reading articles about Doom or Dunwich Horror that many of us wouldn't normally.

So relay was hinted at and enough shown in the initial announcement. Snipe was mostly guessed too. So they are fine showing Saber Squadron. Strategic has been better hidden and Im pretty sure one of the new Ywings has that keyword. Revealing that in the Rebel/Imp Squad Pack II article isn't so likely but would be possible.

They left base and the commander made the kind of decisions that a fleet commander (or at least ship captain) had to make. To push on, withdraw, change objectives, etc. This is not represented in any way except for strategic and the Ghost's text. Someone like Horton Salm with strategic would do that.

They have hidden, but not to this extent. It was the X-Wing TFA Core Set, and it was leaked months in advance of its official statement of release.

We still do have the missing SKU. We don't know what that is, if anything...

But the point about Rogue One is building Hype... Build Hype and get it out... Having a hidden release like that is counter to the point.

I don't think FFG would release another squad pack when we already have one coming, and even more uniques in CC. I love squads, but that would just be too much.

Yeah I think you guys are right. It would certainly make no sense to hide them this long especially since every other Rogue One product has been out for months now.

I think the safest assumption right now re the missing SKU is that it's a delayed/cancelled product.

I believe there have been missing XWing SKUs that have never come to light, or were revealed much much later on in the development cycle.

Specifically, it was SWX20 that is missing, "but known"... it was a set of Cardboard sections that you could lay down as a Play Mat of sorts... It is a Cancelled Project, and tehre are pictures of it from pre-order, that I can't hunt right now...

However, SWX58 is still "missing" and "unknown" in the Star Wars X-Wing Line.

For Armada, it is SWM20, and it sits between the Rebel Flotillas, and Phoenix Home, in ordering....

It might be because Salm gets some love in the Xwing series while "Pops" is only really named in reference material. I had to go look him up to figure out he was the "They came from behind" guy.
