Unrealistic Death Star II debris is better than Death Star IV: This time it’s as big as a sun.

We also fly through large chunks of it during the Battlefront 2 campaign... which is Canon.
So yeah.

Even without the Canonicity of the BattleFront games, in Aftermath we find out that Princess Leia has basically convinced the Nascent New Republic to gift recovered pieces of the Destroyed Death Star to the Alderaanian Flotilla, so they can build a permanent space station with it where Alderaan once was.

I'm on the fence if it's the worst in the series. I think clone wars is worse overall, but TLJ has the lowest moments of the franchise. That crank call is the worst thing I can imagine in any film. It alone nearly makes me want JJ to just reboot 8 before doing 9.

I think they would justify themselves by invoking Han’s exchange over the intercom.
Be careful though, the TLJ defenders on here are...special. Did you know it made over a billion dollars?
As for worst moment in the series...surely the Midiclorians in TPM have to be a contender.

it's interesting because I DO think it has aspects that are solid, specifically Daisy ridley and adam driver are AMAZING but I'm going to need Rian Johnson to put down the star wars and back away slowly.

Oh I completely agree. The fact it had good moments makes the bad moments all the more painful.
Same with AotC - I thought Ewan McG really started to get a handle on the character of Obi Wan in that film, and mock me if you like but for some very embarrassing reason the exchange between Anakin and Padme in the arena tunnel always gets me...
...but good lord what a turd of a movie. 😵

If we cut the movie into only the scenes with Ewan I think it would be a better movie, he was a great Obi and thats one of the few movies I'd like to see be made (specifically if they end it with the rebels scene but in live action with both episode 1 actors, gawd I'd cry). It's weird because I remember when I saw Attack of the Clones i did really enjoy it but it aged like a banana. Anakins dialogue is just so bad.
