I would like to have the Rebels get the Providence-class carrier/destroyer and Imperials get the Venator to start, with more CIS salvage for the Rebels going forward.

This would look very good in red.

Oh! I heard about that, BF2 finally getting a single-player mode. Not sure it’s enough to get me to buy it though - I loathe EA and I loathe games that are built from the ground up to be multiplayer first. I’d kill for a new X-Wing vs TIE fighter...

Rumors are floating around that Disney has had talks with Ubisoft and Activision about the Star Wars license.

If I had to choose between the two I'd go with Ubisoft, because I feel they are more likely to make some good singleplayer games.

Activision on the other hand reportedly filed a patent for microtransactions through the killcam on Call of Duty...

Yeah I’d give Ubi a chance. In other news, LOL at FFG giving Legion Imp *** stuff - it’s not enough they give them new things we dont have, now they get our stuff too!

I wonder why they did that cool female imperial officer art with that buzz and then gave the miniature ugly romulan hair?? ?

I bet they’ll announce a Star Destroyer for Legion before we get anything else. ?

I’m so far removed from gaming now I’m not really an authority, I was only basing it on the fact I believe Ubisoft does Assassins Creed and the last one I played was the pirate one which was a solid single-player experience. My memory of EA is forcing you to install their **** games launcher, paywalling Sim City and making it online only, adding multiplayer to mass affect, loot boxes to Battlefront 2 and gutting the Command & Conquer series.

Those 2 studios would make amazing Star Wars games, but Disney apparently wants to make a big publisher deal instead of individually granting the Star Wars license.

If Disney went with Take-Two as a publisher partner then Rockstar could make Star Wars games.

In a way I am grateful for EA putting loot boxes in Battlefront 2, because of the outrage governments are legislating against the practice! ?

Disney wants to milk the SW IP for everything it's worth. Giving it to CDPR or Rockstar would produce high quality games that are well known and respected...but it would only produce 1 game every 5 years. That's not going to work for Disney. They are going to want a couple games a year with 1 or 2 flagships on a regular basis.

Rockstar has one of the biggest money making games under thier belts.

Although, EA hasn't even made very many games after what 4 years? They literally have 2... Both of which have add mediocre results considering the effort gone into them
