Article Predictions. Mostly General Discussion. But there's definately some Predictions scattered throughout.
FFG gets a reprieve.
For today.
Despite two articles on the CC now at this point though, still not on the boat.
Oh man that article was likenw cool glass of water in the dessert.
I really hope Pops (Gold 5) is the new Y Wing Ace. None of that goofy new cannon stuff ![]()
Wave 6:
Rebels
Hammerhead Corvette
Imperials:
Either the Carrion Spike class of ship or a Carrack -class light cruiser (it's now canon in multiple books!)
First Neutral Ship:
Quasar Class Carrier (People keep saying they're going to give this to the rebels but in the current lore it is an Imperial class of ship. The best solution is make a ship that can be used by both sides.)
Here's the other side of the speculations.... Its all well and good to pick things that look awesome, but the question will be - without coming up with a brand new game defining mechanic or upgrade slot, what will these things bring to the game to warrant their inclusion...
I mean, for example - the Carrack. We've already got the Gladiator in the close range boat. We've got the Raider as the Anti-Fighter Platform. We're going to have the Arquitens as a long range light platform... What do you think the Carrack will bring that won't simply make one (or more) of those things irrelevant?
(And not picking, genuinely interested).
I mean, for example - we've had some people point out that the hammerheads could work effectively as a dedicatedly combat flotilla... Small, light, bit of hitting power, but lacking the tactical flexibility we get with current Flotillas (and the unique upgrade slot!)
However the Empire instead of recieving more kinds of floatillas gets a glass cannon thats purpose is to hunt them down U Boat style. The rebels could also get one in the form of a corellian gunship. These would be about the cost of a raider 1 and would not be particularly powerful except for against floatillas.
The Carrion Spike on the other I was thinking could also be a glass cannon and the Empire's response to the MC30

Ahh but we dont have a dedicated anti floatilla ship yet. I think the rebels should keep getting floatillas that are all really cool. GR's are healers. Hammerheads scout. A few others. A bunch of others I cant concieve of that work as support.

I always figured the MC30 was a response to the Gladiator, and thus, didn't need Responding to! ![]()

Now all your ships are anti-flotilla ships thanks to Captain Jonus
I mean, that's just it.
Any ship with an inherent ability to roll an ACC is an "Anti Flotilla" ship, as such... Raiders, Gladiator IIs, etc.
Becausebeyond that, you're really just an Anti-Ship Ship, to be an Anti-Flotilla Ship... I don't know if it warrants its own Archtype...

If you get drunk enough, will you tell us your last name?
Probably.
I found out the other day, according to some metrics, it is:
1,759,888th most common surname in the world
Approximately 48 people bear this surname
Probably.

Dammit, Google gave me nothing that matched your surname of 13 letters, no vowels, and at least one "y".
Probably.

So Amazon is selling a toy AT-AT for $500 and I just got an email about it asking me to buy one. Been looking at Star Wars stuff for too long.

I'll definitely be somewhere in that percentile then.
