Something for the other side to balance things out:

Both of those look about right, lol.

Could put her in a new TIE Shuttle in a list with naught but Bombers, TIEs, and Interceptors, and basically just get 4 free points!
Right. I forgot about that upcoming title. You can add "You must field ships with shields."
But then again... Who really flies bombers? ![]()
P.S. I'm joking, I'm joking.
"Fire at Will" treat all your ships as PS 12 during the combat phase

Can we all just say that Captian Phasma going down the garbage chute and Rey magically saying "The Force" and becoming a Jedi Master were not the high points of the movie.
Edited by MarinealverShe didn't become a Jedi Master... She beat another apprentice that wasn't near as strong as her in the force. Why do people think Kylo was even a knight? He was still training himself.

The fact that Darth Emo after years of training got defeated by 2 words. SHA-ZAM!
Okay now to be fair I have heard of fan theories that Rey was already in training before Ben Solo killed the entire class and those flashbacks were that of her past that she forgot. I also heard the mindlink theory that Kylo Ren taught her when he tried to read her mind (you will never be as cool as Darth Vader).
Either way it was clearly movie semantics, but then again so was the exhaust port on the Death Star.
Just remember that Kylo was shot by a friggin bowcaster.

Not to mention the fact that Kylo probably had his mind occupied with holding his shattered thigh bone together. The movie makes it so obvious how powerful the bowcaster is, I marvel at how people chose to overlook that fact when they asses the whole "ZOMG REY SO OP" situation. She had it pretty easy, all things considered and that doesn't even include any speculation about her mysterious past.
Yeah, he did take a hit of the bow of awesome +2 to flinging stormtroopers.
Maybe, in retrospect, they did hit it hard, and it did not self destruct. Han just misunderestimated the bowcaster...

You obviously watched a different movie to the rest of us.
JJ doesn't understand the force trying to make excuses for that is pointless.

It remains to be seen who is the strongest in the force, but I agree that it's probably Rey.
But generally, the movie just tells us that Kylo Ren is not like Anakin, Obi Wan or RotJ Luke. He just doesn't come across as the biggest, most powerful badass out there. Perhaps the critics should ask themselves why this bothers them so much. It's a bit un-starwarsish that Ren does not check all the boxes of his archetype, but is that really something to be so bothered about?
Ren lost credibility as soon as the mask came off he's just a punchline now.

Obviously not. Why would he only be credible with a mask on?
It's not as if the wounded Kylo was emotionally distraught or something, nothing to preoccupy his mind.

He went from hate filed dark Jedi to child throwing a tantrum because daddy didn't love him enough.

No, I went into the movie with a open mind and ready to see how they were going to bring new fans to the franchise and open the way to a new series. I didn't go in with nostalgia of my childhood expecting the same feeling I would get for a young adult movie made so long ago. A lot has been left unexplained, but that's the same as the originals. Stuff that can be explained in the next movies. The amount of people I talked to that didn't see or know much star wars that really enjoyed this new one was impressive. Regardless of your ill fated hatred, they accomplished what the movie was going for. Personally I actually feel like kylo will become something because he was the epitome of what a newly turned sith would be.
Now do I think we will get crew cards for the new characters? More then likely. But it might not be wave 9, could be even farther, timed with the next episodic movie.
Most people I spoke with who knew and liked Star Wars thought the new movie great. It's only a really small number of people who do not like the new movie for whatever reason.
But a Phasma crew card.
After a friendly ship has attacked an enemy ship in your arc, discard this card to have another friendly ship perform a primary weapon attack on that ship.
Discipline!

Nah. I still think my original one is more thematic. Lol

That is just a description of what he did. I think it's totally credible that such a character would behave like that. So where was credibility lost?

Well we've already had whineakin we really didn't need another wuss as the antagonist.
