nice armor!
(and really like the simple idea of "dots" with your hunters...nice)
I finished Jyn Odan.
Gaarkhan & Chewbacca are now finished.

Wookiee Warriors are now complete.
Wookiee Warriors, Gaarkhan & Chewbacca
very nice wookies!
IG-88, nothing special here.
All this painting has taken me away from X-Wing and working on my 1/270 scale Nebulon-B Frigate model.
I just about have my core set completely painted but have yet played this game with anyone. It looks like it would be so much fun, I've played solo and liked it. It sucks to be an introvert.

Such great stuff! I just love your Nexu... all the details really make them come alive. They have a sort of punk-rock feel to them.
And your Walkers are amazing too. Lovely weathering -- and you achieved a fine metallic texture for them. Lovely work!
Thanks matthewjksullivan.
I just had Boba Fett finished but killed him in the final wash and had to strip all my paint off the miniature. Any way I just thought I would let you all know that full strength Mr. Clean will quickly strip Vallejo paint off a miniature. I used Mr. Clean, a toothbrush and a dental pick set to get the paint out of the tough spots. I had all the paint off down to the black primer in about 45 minutes.

I just finished Boba Fett for the second time but ran out of Testors Spray Lacquer so I used Krylon Matte Finish 1311 instead. This gave the miniature a much more glossy finish than I wanted. When I get some more of the Testors I will be applying a coat of it to my Boba. If this works to tone down the glossiness then I will use the Krylon as an undercoat with the Testors applied over it. This should help to stretch out my Testors. I guess the Krylon would have worked on my Stormtroopers. Anyway on to painting Gideon Argus.
That's a nice looking Boba.
How do you get those nice crease lines on something like his right arm bracer? Do you paint the line first, then go over it with the main color?
I paint the base color, then wash it with a dark wash, hi light it with a lighter version of the base color than use a fine point brush to apply more dark wash in a thin line.

Excellent, thank you very much.
Thought you might like to see how I store my painted miniatures. Here is my Imperial Assault storage solution. This was made on the fly so I do not have any plans or measurements for this but it is made out of foamcore.
All the map tiles and stuff not pictured are kept in the Twin Shadows box except the manuals. They are kept in the Core Game box.

Like my Boba Fett I only had Krylon Matte Finish 1311 on hand to seal my Gideon Argus miniature so he is a little on the glossy side.
Here is my Han Solo.
And here is my Luke Skywalker.
fantastic work, dude!
Thanks executor. I love your work as well.
