Great fore-thought on the stones. I was wondering how you could see the grid as I was reading your post, but then you had it already figured out.

Just ordered a couple of sets to get started. I presume I can prime and paint these with regular primer? I tend to use Army Painter primer as that's what my local games store carries.

Yes mate, any sort of primer will do the trick, i use car primer from the local auto shop as it tends to be better value for money and just as good as the dedicated hobby brands

Blimey, been so busy! Anyhow just got my copy of Heart of the Empire, looking forward to creating some more scenery and painting all these tasty minis up! Which reminded me, last wave finished a while ago, forgot to post!

I am assuming you photo-shopped the x-wing ghost? Or did you really create a ghost up to scale? Either way, nice work.
