Does Team Pacific even have their copies yet? I havent seen anybody even talk about the card at all

Couple of my local players are already splashing a few other resources in their decks, myself included (for instance, I have a few Death only cards and Fire only cards in my otherwise Earth/Death Earth/Fire Ragnar deck).

I think he's got every right to be pissed off at this, i know i was seriously unimpressed when i heard someone had pulled a copy of patriot games out of a booster, as far as i was aware, beyond copies printed for playtesting all 800 copies of a champion card were given to the winner(s) to do with as they choose, if copies are turning up in boosters then that means more were printed than should have been.

just to make sure i understand and don't assume someone is a ****** for no reason....is it

A) unable to get in contact with said person, just too busy with life to worry about the card

B) just a ******, and "refuses" to sign off since he quit playing and the cards would not benefit HIM personally..

C) some other scenario involving monkeys, magic frogs, and possibly flying bananas.

madeofwin: I don't think they'd print copies for playtesting, since you can just use a blank card with stats and abilities written in. Or straight-up proxies... vs using printer time, ink, etc on something that'll never see the light of day.

true, in that case extra copies were printed that ended up in boosters, it could be an error with the print run seeing the number of random promo's that seem to be turning up in boosters, i would just like an official answer one way or another as to why champion cards are turning up in boosters

Sounds more and more like an error was made at the printers. If you notice, Pacific Gifts was printed with the ShadoWar foiling, meaning it was in the same print run. There's been a LOT of errors with that print run it seems.

Or mostly that at least. Antigoth has offered to drive to his home, hand him the pen and paper, and fax it to FFG but he still refuses.

Last time I talked to him, he "Claimed" he sent it already, and it was lost in the mail.

So I said "Do you have a scanner?" 'yeah' "then sign it, scan it, email it to James."

Apparently the third team member is "without a fixed address." and although this guy is his friend, and could probably use the cash, he still doesn't care about signing the release.

It's all gravy, FFG doesn't read the forums anyway

Yeah I mean, you could say James Hata was the worst thing that ever happened to UFS *dodges the flying bricks* (he's not by the way, just overrated). But seriously, Gary and Bill need to get off their collective behinds and DO something about this
