SirWilli's Workshop: Armada stuff

By SirWillibald, in Star Wars: Armada

wow those Command Bridge Card Holders are nice. i have some plastic one. But nothing that lets me keep track of the DMG done to my ship like these do. Now time to see if the local base wood worker can make these into a wood version. Awesome work

Huh...I can't seem to access the website on my iPad.

Huh...I can't seem to access the website on my iPad.

The latter would be on purpose, I screwed up the migration process an killed all links within my new page, have to fix this first. For the time being I simply reactivated my old site. Sorry for the inconvenience, I'm really annoyed myself...

Tl;dr

New website delayed, link still leading to my old site.

It the previous address gave me nothing at all. Looking forward to the fix!

Alright, it seems (...) to work now, enjoy and report any bugs!

Welcome again to SirWilli's brand new workshop!

Yes, it works! Very nice! I like the search feature...but as of right now it seems to be the only way to access your micro hangars, etc. :D

Looks great! Keep up the good work!

What does that mean? There should be download links within each game subsection as well as a "Downloads only" section for each game (menu on the left). That's not the case??

Ah! I see!

The game subsections appear when I open the page with a browser on my Mac, but they don't appear on Safari on either my iPhone or iPad. They also do not appear when I use Chrome on my iPhone. :(

Oops... It's just some default code making it disappear on smaller screens for usability purposes.

I don't have access to the file that's controlling that, but it should be fixed soon.

But my access combined with Wichenstadens's knowledge has hopefully resolved the issue... :)

Try again!

Sorry to say it's not giving me anything now except a "safari could not connect to server" error.

I cannot get the Web page or the Download area to work. Keep getting a timed out or terminated connection error. Anyone have the PDF for the Command Bridge Card Holders

What the...? Please try again, it works fine on my side, perhaps a temporary webhoster issue? If the problem persists I can get you the file later, going to work now...

Still get the error. I found the file off https://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/117164/cardholders-carrierboxes . Now just need to figure out how to get the instructions to put it together. Thanks

Sorry, no clue. It works fine for me. Anybody else having issues?

Here's the deeplink for the instructions:

If it doesn't work, you could try the instruction from my old page:

Hope this helps!

I'm getting to the page no problem, as well as all the download areas.

It worked later in the evening and got to put one of the Bridges together with reg printer paper to see how hard it is. Will do a few more paper builds before I do a more permanent one

This will likely be an issue for anyone who saw the site within the first couple days. Try going to your browser settings/privacy, and clearing your cache. I'm not sure about iphone, but you can clear it on android by starting to clear your history, which brings up checkboxes for what all you want to clear-- cache being among the options.

As promised, Armada's next. Sneak peak:

That totally worked. Two thumbs up!

Awesome, can't wait. Looks like that box will house both ships on the top part of the stand, is that right? I was wondering if that's how you'd do the flotillas.

That's right, and since I already broke two ships from the peg after about 20min I think that's the only reasonable way. Besides, the hangar for just the two ships would be really tiny...

I also plan to add such "ComboHangars" (lack a good name, yet, suggestions welcome) for the older small ships that tend to break (CR90, Neb-B, ...)

Maybe call them Docking Stations or something like that.

Loving the new stuff and the websites looks great.
