Got a few inquiries about a separate MicroHangar / GearBox version for the Flotillas. Taking the ships off the stand seems dumb to me, the little pins will break in no time (already lost one...).
Therefore I decided to make a hangar for the ships on the their stand only (see above) and the rest would get its own GearBox. Good idea? Worth finishing?
I really like this style of boxes even though they're larger than the ones for the corvettes. I would love to see similar boxes for the other smaller ships, too!
Also, I noticed this when assembling the boxes. The Assault Carriers have the Rebel logo on them instead of the Imperial one. Should be an easy fix at least.

I like it better. It will save a lot of space compared to the one with the stand combined without having to remove the models from the stand.
Alright, will make them, althoug you shouldn't expect too much saved space, the hangar is about half the size of the combi hangar, but you'll need an additional GearBox...
I keep my bases, cardboard, dials, tokens and stands in a separate plano container all together. So I don't use the gear boxes. I just keep the ship models in hangars and in a different container together. So that works just fine.

Sorry for the delay, the additional MicroHangars for Flotillas only as well as Flotilla GearBoxes are ready to rumble! New versions for some of the tuckboxes are there, as well.
Come and see and - more important - let me know if something's wrong or else.
Wave 4 hangars will hopefully arrive around late December...

Already got some hi-res scans for the logos, but just noticed (haven't played Armada for a long time...) that I had added (more or less) fitting Star Wars quotes to each category...
Maybe I'm simply too tired at the moment (real life with three kids in december is... not so funny) but I can't come up with anything appropriate.

OK... I finally realized I had to try to organize my fighters better into my toolbox and I took the plunge into the boxes.
It's silly simple and required about $25 of investment plus some scissors. Super simple to make these.
