It has been a long ass time since we heard a podcast for UFS. Although I am willing to admit how much the last podcasts I worked on sucked major ass. Regardless, I am posting to inform you UFSer's that a new Podcast for the game is on its way. (And don't worry, it is 100% Scuba free.) After listening to podcasts for other games like 40K Radio, I realize that the UFS fans are in need for some bad ass podcasts that actually mean a **** thing...not a yawn fest. So here it is, after talking to some cool players of UFS we have devised a new podcasts which name will not be revealed until the first airing of our podcast. What will be revealed now are our hosts.

Our hosts will be Scott the Godfather Gaines, Bob Wagner, and the most loved personality in UFS and somehow my father, though if you guys can explain it to me it would be helpful, CHUBBS. I will not be hosting because a) I don't make a good host and b) I would rather record and produce the podcast. Better to be behind the scenes and give the lime light to the guys who have the ideas.

Format for this will not be the same as COP. We will not have guest hosts as much as we did if ever. This is totally up to the hosts. Topics will actually be 'REAL'. Oh and there will be plenty of profanity...because I don't want to bleep out things and lets be honest, Scott Gaines is way funnier when you let him go off. Same for Chubbs and Bob. Topics will be handled by the hosts to insure that something is worth listening to. Think of it as magazine articles from different writers but on podcasts. DBZ music will not be in the intro. I have yet to find a place for me to upload the future episodes and any suggestions will be welcomed.

SToG will not be done by us. This is not the official podcast for UFS but it will in time become the official podcast of the FANS of UFS. Due to the extreme nature that this podcast is going in, I do not want FFG to upload these new episodes because there will be no family friendly episodes and they better not bother asking because I will not edit out anything that would make some of the statements sound incomplete.

This is a brand new show and I rest assure you that UFS Podcasts will not be looked at the same again. I would ask of the hosts to post and place a background for you guys to read, but they are busy guys so you will just have to wait for the show to come out:p. So there it is. Hope this gives you guys something to look forward to.

I thought the podcast was canceled because FFG planned on doing their own show (yeah right).

Also, Mt_Do,I’m really happy for you, I’ll let you finish, but I'm one of the best commentators of all time. One of the best commentators of all time!

Glad to hear about a new podcast. I personally really enjoy game-based podcasts, and find them to be, if well implemented, useful and fun to listen to.

One of the best podcasts I have ever listened to, up until the game and I parted ways, was Fell Calls, about Warmachine. Perhaps it was the factional element of the game, or the distinct personality that the show had, but it was great to listen to. Hell, at times I would go back and re-listen old episodes just to see if I could apply any of the older strategies to new units, or something of the fashion.

Things I would like to hear:

- StoG Review. Not a 'read the stog' cast, but an honest "This is what I feel/think/hope will happen because of X, Y and Z." This could also just be an "in the news" or "On the forums" bit, discussing certain 12 page forum posts, for example.

- Deck of the Week/Month challenges. This would be less of a 'these are the cards' and more of a 'this is the theme' type of thing. Each person in the cast is challenged to build, either in meta or for real, a deck they have not run before. Besides possible amusing commentary, it would also give a nice bit of insight when it comes to deck building for the cast.

- Character of the Week. A 5-10 minutes segment that has the cast go around and discuss either the character in question, deck choices when building a deck off them, or combative tactics against them.

- Champ interviews. Just a sitdown with the champs, discussing whatever they think/feel/hope about the new meta or the future meta.

Well, that is that for now. I hope to hear this off the ground soon.

I had always wanted to be in the old podcast but they were doing it when I was in Germany and the time difference screwed us over. I'd love to participate at one point.

Honestly, I'd like to do something similar to "From the Minds of the (Fan) Creators" like I did last year, but my fellow fan creators are basically retired, and the game is really too new to ***** about anything in particular.

Once Soul Cal comes out, I think it's safe to say that this game officially begins.

Scott needs to have "Pasta!" or " Knight BREAKA!" as his catch phrase it will be win. Looking forward to this.

The key audience will be all of the above. There will definately be something for everyone, old and new. It should be able to hold the attention of older gamers, while giving new players valuable information that they can use.

I think this is great news, and will eagerly await more information concerning it - take it for granted you will have a viewer(listener)ship of me and my playgroup here in Calgary (Western Canada).
