1. Atom, there is a minor bug with the rumor card "Valyndra's Fury". The timing to play the rumor is perfect, however, the added threat (from playing a rumor card) does not seems to be available. I managed to edit the steps after to equalize the number of threats, it wasn't a big deal. Just a heads up.
2. We also noticed when played the rumor quest "Bonds of the Wild", that the Troll monster group wasn't available to pick between the options for the open group, however the quest and the Troll monster group matched the required trait to fulfill the quest requirements.

I just started Descent and the tracker is a godsend.

I'm trying to use the travel function but I'm a little lost, I need some help using it

In the Heirs of Blood campaign, when travelling between Siege of Skytower and The Baron Returns, the back map of the campaign booklet shows the path as: Mountain, Forest, Road, Water, Forest, Flat (6 events). However when looking at the Travel section of the d2etracker, it only shows Road, Water, Forest, Flat.

Did I misunderstand the game rules?

The tracker is correct. Traveling always starts from Kethiri Ruins.

As Sadgit says, all missions start from Kethiri Ruins.

This baffled me for a while as a new player too but there is a small paragraph somewhere in the book stating this.

Thanks! My hero-player was drowning in a host of afflictions before the mission even started - something must've gone wrong!

Love the tracker. Can't imagine not having it. Three things that came up today.

1. Overlord won the interlude Saradyn in Flames, which said next available mission is the Prison of Khinn, but the other one, if the heroes would have won, Army of Dal'zunm was still available in the app to pick (glitch?)

2. Overlord reward (Scorpion's Kiss) did not show up as going to the overlord in the item section (glitch?)

3. Overlord played Rude Awaking rumor card during Act 1 but never played the mission, but now Armed to the Teeth shows as an available quest. If you skip an act 1 rumor card does is assume the overlord won and therefore the Act 2 card gets played at the start of Act 2? This may be a glitch too, but it may also be that I've been playing wrong. I didn't think the Act 2 rumor card would come into play unless you played the act 1 rumor?

Again. Love the tracker.

I scrolled through all the pages to see if I could find my answer, but alas, no luck.

If I have missed it I apologize for asking.

- During the travel phase on the way to the quest, we had a "Traveling Merchant" which lets each hero make a skill check and if succeeded you gain a search card.

When entering the travel card information on the tracker, there is nowhere to input what item you received. Is this something that needs to be added or is there another way to "edit" the information to show they received the items. This will also affect how much gold they have for purchasing items.

Surely I am not the first to come across this, so let me know how the rest of you handle this.

If is IS in the tracker, please guide me to where I am missing it.

I really appreciate the d2etracker but I havn't been able to log in for several days now.

Hope you fix it soon - it is the only place I have recorded our groups progress (or lack thereof )

I am not sure that Atom4geVampire, who created and maintained d2etracker, is still into Descent. A couple of months ago, he had to drop out of a number of play-by-forum games over at BGG due to personal stuff and has not returned yet. I hope he is well.

I'm still alive. But yeah, Descent is kinda on the back burner for me at the moment. (Also haven't visited this forum in quite a while), though I still want to support the tracker. (and I should read up on the latest other issues in this thread)

I have been looking into the login issue, but it's just very strange. I haven't updated the code of the site in quite a while, so I would assume the code itself is not the issue.
On top of that, I myself (and other people if looking at the recently updated campaigns) can log in just fine. Which makes it hard for me to pinpoint the issue if I don't experience it myself.
Sadly, I haven't had the time to delve into this issue extensively, which is why it's taking a bit longer as well.

The issue has been resolved (I think). Can the people who had trouble loggin in please verify if this is the case?

Sadly i still can't get in. Don't know if it helps but created my acount recently and im logging in from Denmark, i've tried to login via google chrome and Explorer with no luck.

And now I can't get in again either.

Was able to for at couple days this week - monday through wednesday.

Yeah, it seems to have broken again..

I am still logged in on my main browser, because I still have an active session cookie...

However, when I try to login using a different browser, it doesn't work.

Hopefully I don't lose that cookie for awhile until its fixed again. Something must be awry with the login process.

The issue is that session data (a variable that keeps your data stored when you log in) can't be written, because apparently, the disk is full. But according to the backend interface I have for the hosting, it's not.

I've now contacted my hosting service, and hope it can get resolved that way.

Now its working for me, good work. I take that back, not its not working again.

Hey Atom4geVampire, is there support yet for a combined Mists of Bilehall + Chains that Rust campaign?

Was looking into porting my current campaign onto the website, but I didn't see an option for Mists + Chains under the campaign drop down.

Yep, if I remember correctly

Just start a Mists campaign, after that ends you will be asked if you want to continue the campaign with Chains.

In that case - a quick suggestion... In the dropdown option for Mists, maybe could put down "Mists of Bilehall / Mists + Chains" or something like that instead?

That way users will know that this is the option to select when doing a full sized campaign.
