Alright, thats what I thought (and it was already implemented that way as it turns out). Just wanted to double check
Unofficial Campaign Tracker for Descent!
Another doublecheck (seriously, whats the number for the Zaltyre hotline?):
Raiding the armory: At the start of the Campaign phase , .. return this card.. reveal 5 random cards from shop deck.. take 1 free ...
At the start of the next campaign phase?
Or at start of any of the campaign phases that are still to follow?

Almost certain that's the next campaign phase.
EDIT: Changed my mind after reading the card, see post #230.
Edited by ZaltyreZaltyre, to give you some more info:
This is found on the back of the Advanced Quest card for 'Armed to the Teeth'. It's the hero reward.
I agree with your statement that 'very few effects/bonuses last from one quest to another' but these reward cards work somewhat differently from the rest of the game.
The overlord reward for the same quest states 'After setting up the Finale, return this card to the game box',
The one for 'At the Forge' says '..during each schopping step of the campaign phase..'
....
This question is also valid for the Crown of Destiny reward, where it says 'During the receive rewards step of the campaign phase'
Reading it originally (yesterday), I interpreted it as 'any', but now, after reading the card 10 more times, I'm leaning towards 'the next'
Edited by Atom4geVampireI haven't looked to see if this has been asked before, but my reading of the card has changed now that I've actually looked at the card.
Specifically, the card says, "at the start of the campaign phase, the heroes MAY return this card to the game box..." then I would support the idea that it is held onto until a chosen campaign phase.
The "At the Forge" card, in contrast, explicitly persists for multiple uses ('each time'.)
For those wondering, the update also won't be for today... :/ Sorry guys and girls
Edited by Atom4geVampireHi there,
First of all, I want to thank Atom4geVampire for this awesome online tracker !
Not sure if this has been asked before, but would it be possible to add an option to divide the stats between 3, 4 and 5 player campaigns ? This would be very interesting as I think that the results would vary greatly depending on the number of players.
Hasn't been asked before, but I see no reason it couldn't be done
I'll add it to the wish list!

Great ! Many thanks ! Looking forward to see that.
Just a comment: I think that this is taken care of, but in my group (Saprolings) there is Ravaella Lightfoot whose defense dice do not show up. She should have a basic black die (contrary to most mages) and a brown die from a Leather Armor.
So, I'm currently putting more of the errata/faq into the website in an effort to make it more easily available than in the errata pdf (mostly thanks to this discussion https://community.fantasyflightgames.com/topic/199959-errata-16/ )
The idea is to present it when it is relevant. For example, when a hero looks at his info, he'll see if anything related to his hero, class, or skills has been changed.
Do you guys think it would be a good idea to include outside sources like the unofficial faq found at https://boardgamegeek.com/wiki/page/Descent_Second_Edition_Unofficial_FAQ ?
It would clearly state what the source of the errata/faq piece was. And could have some other indication like color as well.
Or do you think it would be wrong/incorrect to include answers even if they came from the designers, but are not in the errata?
Edited by Atom4geVampireI think trying to make a web of which rulings can affect which skills for even the official FAQ is a daunting task, much less the 'unofficial FAQ.' I think it would be sufficient to have links directing people to the appropriate documents.
It would be reasonable (and quite helpful) if there were such a notification for quests at least- something like, "NOTE: there has been an errata to the rules of this quest since first printing. Please refer to FFG support page [link]."
IMO, only the official FAQ. If not, you're going to have a hard time maintaining your tracker, up to date with all the unofficial changes.
Well, to be honest Zaltyre, its not thát hard. I already did it for the quests as seen here:
But I want to expand it to heroes and others as well as you can see in this development version:
This just provides the users instantly with the information that is relevant to them, without any hassle of looking it up or anything. (I want to do the same for monsters and other things as well.)
Right now each errata or faq question is a seperate entry in the database, but can be linked to multiple 'things'.
For example, there is something about blast and conditions in the errata, I just make one entry for it and enter the id's for skill X,Y,Z or item A,B,C and it will show up on the page above as soon as somebody buys a skill or item that has blast. So, in my opinion, relatively easy.
Like discussed in the other thread, I also feel a lot of stuff is missing from the errata, that has had an official FFG answer, so should it be added or not?
An yes, it might be a daunting task, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna add it all in one go. It can be added over time. I just need to have the functionality in place for it (or not).
Edited by Atom4geVampireAs has come up before, the unofficial FAQ is not always 100% accurate. Some things have been negated via the official FAQ, and some things (in my personal opinion) have not been but should be. For that reason, I think you are best off sticking with the official FAQ only. However, that depends if you want to err of the side of correctness or completeness.
If everything goes well, the update should be live in a few hours, the site will be down for a while before that. (+- in 3 hours)
Don't worry, a backup will be made in case anything goes wrong.
Update is live. If there are any issues, let me know asap. Full changelog coming tomorrow!
- Implemented a new way to select the next quest: Quest balance, duration and flavour text is now shown. There is also an indication of why a certain quest is available/unavailable.

Just to let you know, I'll implement Mists of Bilehall as soon as I can. My copy has been at my local game store for more than a week, but there is no sign of the lieutenants yet. (Or Treaty of Champions for that matter)
Some 'bad' news. Everything was going well implementing Bilehall, and maybe releasing it today/tomorrow, until I got to the finale. FFG decided to switch things up yet again, and made the second encounter of this a choice between two options.
They also did this in Heirs of Blood, so thats not the problem, the problem is that this time they decided not to use the same monsters in the 2 options (which they did do in Heirs).
This is currently not supported by the website (and at this point I have no idea what the best way is to do this.) This will take some time to implement. Sorry!
Ok, I found a suitable solution. You can now start a Mists of Bilehall campaign!
(No Lieutenant packs yet though )
Thanks for fixing the selection of the nerekhall finale! (and for the much improved quest selection in general!)
Shame that the OL won though^^
There was an error when trying to view certain pages, this is now resolved. Sorry about that!
There's a bug particularly annoying on mobile though reproducible on desktop as well. When you click on an item to view its description (also viewable by hovering over the item in desktop) the page scrolls to the top. This is most likely because you are using <a> tags to receive the click event to bring up the pop-up. You need to return false in your click handler to prevent that from happening.
Weird, I can't seem to be able to reproduce this, but I'll look into it. What phone/browser are you using?
I can reproduce this on Chrome on Android as well as Windows. I'm running the latest versions of Chrome on both (stable channel).
You can see a repro on Android here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6ACobsW2uvMWl9EVkg2eTVleW8/view In this video I tap on "Chipped Greataxe", the screen auto-scrolls to the top, then I use my finger to scroll back down to the pop-up.
On the desktop, you can repro this just by making your browser window very narrow and not too tall. Then, when you scroll down to view items with tooltips and click on them (not just hover) it will scroll up.
