At the rate FFG is going, it could be Christmas before it even releases. Stupid-upside-down-back-stroking-the-wrong-way boat... Maybe It was also abducted by the Yuuzhan Vong... XD

That being said, the answer depends on what you enjoy flying. In my local meta I have flown against both and I think they are equally powerful in the right hands. I enjoy the look and abilities of the Decimator, but the Outrider is much more maneuverable.

If you plan on flying Imps more often than Rebels or vice versa, your answer is almost too easy. Since you plan to buy both, get the one you will fly more often first, then get the other.
