OT: Order 66 consisted of what exactly?

But it's your game.

No it's really not. If we are going to discuss matters of canon, the why's and such, then we have to accept whatever is canon as canon, and not just ever someone wants to believe.

That's like trying to discuss WWII history with someone who believes it was the Goa'uld who were behind the bombing of Pearl.

Rubbish. It was the Sontarans. You could tell from their big potato helmets.

Four whole fried chickens and a coke.

I think it also included some dry toast. White if I recall.

Only losers read before posting!

Order 66 was a contingency order of the grand army of the republic. Order 66 means that the Jedi have attempted a coup and must be killed on sight. The clones are very much people (some even have wives and kids) but they thought the Jedi council had committed a coup. This is the exact wording: "In the event of Jedi officers acting against the interests of the Republic, and after receiving specific orders verified as coming directly from the Supreme Commander (Chancellor), GAR commanders will remove those officers by lethal force, and command of the GAR will revert to the Supreme Commander (Chancellor) until a new command structure is established."

I thought they were specifically engineered to not question orders (I'm sure one of the giraffes told Obi Wan than). Seems like they're back-peddling on that aspect of lore if they're trying to explain it away as more than just "they were simply following orders".

According to what I recall from Clone Wars show, they weren't necessarily engineered to follow orders in a mindless kind of way - but there was an innate sense of loyalty that seemed to come from Jango's personality (strangely) and then there was certainly indoctrination / training. But, the clones did have doubts, questioned the logic of orders (but followed them anyway most of the time) - but there were occasions where their own free will trumped those things and they bailed, either turning traitor (for money, escape, etc...) or just leaving altogether to find peace.

Well then, I think that Giraffe lady oversold them a bit. I don't remember her exact words, but she certainly implied (or at least I inferred), if she didn't explicitly say, that they'd biologically changed them to be more compliant. Typical business person, full of bull poops to suck the client in...

The way I've pictured it is that it was part of their conditioning during their development and that there were a number of orders rattling around in their heads that they actively think about or were even conscious until they were received. Which is why the Jedi did not get the hibbi jibbis when leading them.

That said I have not seen much of the TCW or read any of the fiction from that era. I do fancy watching TCW now though

Based on the Clone Wars TV show this is where I stop paying attention, that show doesn't exist in my mind because vader/ankin need to stop having a pile of secret apprentices

Note I do like the Star Wars Rebel show so I'm not bias to new kids style star wars stuff

Anakin doesn't have a secret apprentice in TCW......
