So far we got only Vader, Solo, Wedge and Fel as PS9 pilots.
Will there be more in future and will the scum get one ... or two as well?

I was wondering the same thing. PS9's have been given so far based on fluff, is anyone here sufficiently EU-versed to make a prediction on the name of a scum PS9 pilot?
As far as the game goes, they either have to give Scum the same amount of PS9 pilots or make up for it in some way.
Edited by chilliganIn their TC Gen Con interview, Frank and Alex said that, in general, Scum will have Lower average pilot skill. That's not a denial, but 8 might be the max. We won't know till the next set or wave is announced.
Edited by Engine25At this point it is purely speculation.
However I say no, we will not, and here's why...
In the Team Covenant video at GenCon when the developers were talking about the new Scum faction and what to expect from it they said specifically that the pilots in this faction "will move first and shoot last". That means that as a whole the entire faction will be low PS.
There may be some higher PS pilots, but my guess is that they won't get above PS 7.
Isn't Fett a pilot skill 8? So out of the gate we know there will be above 7.
Well, Boba is at 8 already, but I guess that's the limit.
Edit: Got ninja'd!
... maybe a scum version of Han Solo?
At least he used to be a smuggler for Jabba the Hutt
You can see all the pilots Pilot Skill below.
None are 9s. There are 2 8s.5 7s, 6 6s, 6 5s.
Who knows, future expansions may have higehr PS.
Remember the VI, greettings.
There will be one ps9 I bet

Which one in the card spread is PS9? I dont see it.
Ace Azameen, YT-2000, PS9.
I thought the idea was because the S&V lack military training they'll have a lower PS across the board than the first two factions.

Just curious...what military training did Luke have? And Han had military training so obviously it's possible for an independent pilot to have had military training as well as a pilot with no military training to be a pretty good pilot too.

luke had magic on his side he's a space wizard in training remember.
Even untrained force sensitive people have better intuition and reflexes which put them ahead of the average person luke hit the exhaust port less through skill and more through the force.

Here's mine, notice I gave IG-2000 the dual cannon slots before FFG. I also suggested the secondary weapon title card for Scyks in another thread. Great minds And all that... ![]()
Ex military pilots, naturally good pilots, and so on, can have very high PS.
I don't think the lack of training will stop a ps9 scum pilot. Natural talent would produce at least one, so I think we will see one, maybe two at a push.

Couldn't agree more.

This is why I expect to see Ace Azameen. We've already seen Emon, so I expect that we'll also see his little brother- who was an undeniably freaking amazing pilot.
Not really, when I was Azzameen I used to ram into the sides of cargo containers with depressing regularity.
I don't think Ace Azameen will be a PS9. He just isn't well know enough and a lot of what goes into a PS9 pilot is fluff.
He also seems like he would more likely end as a Rebellion pilot as well.

By that argument, Wedge's antics are as well known as Vader's, but ask any run of the mill Star Wars fan who wedge is and they'll say, "Wedge who? You mean that guy in the death star run?". It's the guys like us that know him.
But shoot, considering Azameen has countless kills, has flown a myriad of different ships, and has never outright failed a mission. On top of evading- and even taking part in the destruction of, several Star Destroyers.
He was one of The Rebellion's greatest pilots of all time, a hero by every pilot's standards in The Rebellion. But not only that, he still flew for his family and not-exactly-rebel runs, in The Otana and the Selu. He may have predominantly been a Rebel Pilot, yes.
But, if Scum gets a large turreted ship, there is no better candidate than The YT-2000, because you also get folks like Emkay (MK-09) and a certain undesirable by the name of Antan Azameen, who did own The Otana.
It'd fit perfectly, since they weren't rebel first.
If'n I were a bettin' man my money'd be on the Punishing One or Hound's Tooth fer a Scum 360 big'un.

Even within the Star Wars mythos Ace isn't well know. Seriously, he was in one game while Wedge is a pretty consistent feature in the EU. There is a LOT better chance someone would at least know or recognize Wedge instead of having no idea who he is. And while X-Wing is very good about getting relatively unknown pilots from older games in, they don't give them to top spot (see such as Jake Farrell or Maarek Stele) who both have similar origins in old Star Wars games.
And Han wasn't rebel first, same with Chewie, Lando, Biggs, Hobbie, Tycho but in the Rebellion is where they really made a name for themselves.
