a) NB loves their cash money and SC is probably one of their better sellers worldwide.
b) Project Soul can't do other types of games. They tried that with Tales of Legendia and failed miserably (their character designer was better though).
c) NB owns Project Soul and I wouldn't be surprised that, after BD the studio is disbanded and/or the franchise is handed to another internal NB studio.
