So anyone has posted the insane Beravor / Bilbo Baggins / Bombur deck?

By JsBingley, in The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game

I break the game on the first turn with doomed dwarf.

Because in the turn one, i have (two handed deck) on average :

- 13 dwarf allies in play

- 2 test of will in hand

- 1 Hasty stroke in hand

- 1 Feint in hand

- 2 sneak attack + Gandalf in hand

- Legacy of durin in play

- Steward of Gondor in play

- Hardy leadership in play

- Darrowdelf axes in play

Nothing in the encounter deck could affect me, because i have a quest capacity just insane and all cancel cards in hands.

So the two next turn is just a formality.

I have finished Shadow and flames in two turns just because Dark pit didn't come in play as an active location.

In the first turn, i have done 28 damages to Durin's bane ...

Actually, my two handed deck "doomed dwarf" is undefeated for all tested scenario (Core set Nightmare, Cycle 1 Nightmare, Khazad dum, Cycle 2, Heirs of Numenor, Cycle 3, Voice of isengard, Cycle 4, Massing at osgiliath, Battle of laketown, Stone of Erech).

I have tested trio and quatuor version of doomed dwarf with the same conclusion.

The solo one is less performant but just crazy too.

In a tournament event, i don't want to see these kind of deck.

So i think that a restricted list on doomed cards & we are not idle and/or hand size limitation for tournament is a good solution.

I talking about it years already…

Probably we will see new FAQ soon with some erratas?

I think that errata isn't the solution.

As player, errata is boring because i need to remember all errata for each player card.

And i think that Some player enjoy to do puzzle deck like these.

I want some official tournament rules in order to nerfed these kind of deck.

Yeah these decks are just awful and broken. Who wants to win turn 1? Who wants to win before the encounter itself can even do anything? Who wants to win so easily and not scrape by sometimes?

These are broken silly combos that no one should be playing and I hope they do errata a card or two to stop stupid stuff like this but at the same time don't think its all that necessary as who in their right mind (and an actual legit fan of this game) would ever use a deck like this? This isn't MTG.....

Gotta trust the players in what is a very casual game to want to be challenged, and to be smart enough to show some constraint on their own. If this game ever does become a tournament game (which is highly unlikely), then certainly bannings are in order.

Lol.. congrats to the person/people that create crazy decks that draw everything, resource everything, beat everything before you setup etc... I do appreciate the skill aspect of making decks like this... but I really wouldn't want to play this way. Being a Co-Op game would choose not to play with others that played decks like this.

I hope that there aren't more rules or errata's to the cards involved (outside of tournaments - if there are such things for this game). I really hate lots of additional rules and erratas to remember. Tournaments sure, non competitive solo or Co-Op games... meh.

there is a hole i the rule. If there will be unlimited draw and hand size to stop this kind of thinks you only can use errata.....
