Great thread. As for myself the choice is simple. It was the ship that really opened up the EU to me. I was about twelve when I stumbled across a copy of the essential guide to vehicles and vessels. I remember flipping through with awe until on the last page, there it was, the underdog of the dogfight the Z-95. I can't really put my finger on what it was but something in that little snubfighter spoke to me. Maybe it's the old hotrodder in me but I've always fantasized about flying a tricked out headhunter.
I too liked the last page of that guide. Head hunters stuck with me since I played TIE fighter for many, many hours. I've always liked the underdogs and anti-heroes. I'm similarly fond of the rugged y-wing. Antiquated it may be but still formidable. The announcement of scum was something I was hoping for and now I'm keen to fly a pirate swarm.
Thanks to the original poster. This topic gets to the heart of why most of us are here.
