To Be Announced Friday Afternoon: Westin Capitol III@12:00 <EOM>

By patox, in X-Wing

I didn't mind Starkiller as a name as it was the original name for Luke.

Haven't read the books, the games aren't very good as a game, but they are fun, especially when you run around force blasting open huge doors or throwing stormtroopers over deep edges.

It took a little too long for me to realize the old large ships are on a different level.

Same. I was really looking forward to the mini-shuttle. ;)

Yeah, I looked for a moment and said - wait, that Slave I is only slightly larger than that A-Wing!

What is the virtue of a proportionate response?

+1 for the reference if you get it.

The American President.

That is a pretty large space they have reserved on the shelf.

Indeed. Could one even call it a Huge space?

Sooooooooo close.:D. It was Sorkin, that is true, and it was presidential.

Close, same writer but different venue. The quote is by President Bartlett on the West Wing in season 1 believe.

Darn, Dagonet beat me to it by mere seconds, lol.

The story for the game was awesome.

I've loved how it showed the start of the rebellion

Did you (or anyone else) read the books? How are they? I mean, really. (I'm genuinely asking, but I don't want fanboy hype.)

The name 'Starkiller' has turned me off. It sounds too much like Sun Crusher. However, I'm willing to give things shot if convinced.

"Luke Starkiller" was Luke's original named before it was changed into "Skywalker". No biggie.

TFU is a very good game, solid story- though Galen Marek (Known as Starkiller) is a massive Mary-Sue. But it's almost okay. Now, the sequel, TFU II...

ooooooooooh boy.

That game...

THAT game...

Tripe.

Friday is when they have the In Flight Report. So, a LOT of stuff is going to be announced then.

Still one of my favorite series. Well written, fast paced, not too cynical, optimistic. Too bad The Newsroom fell flat.

Well, now I'm a little more confident that the Rogue Shadow isn't too big to be in a standard game.

It'd have to be a capital ship almost. The Rogue Shadow is almost twice as large (VT49 is 38 meters and it can barely be called a large ship) at 68 meters. It sits somewhere between the GR75 and the VT49.

How long do you think it will be before they come out with prequel ships?

Well Captain Kagi is from Episode 3...

Friday at noon... Clearly...

Second one was terrible

Yeah, that's according to some website. I don't really hold with that assessment, not when I can play the game and see it for myself. Practically speaking, it shouldn't be any bigger than the Decimator or Falcon.

The Gozanti/TIE Carrier/whatever is a kind of prequel ship. I saw what looked like one in the CW cartoon today. And that is a big space. Big enough for a huge ship. So... "prequel" huge ship. Maybe.

I still want a Lancer, though.

It looks like the card is on a shelf above...prolly Armada with expansions would be my guess.

Nevermind...hard to see on my cellphone. They are on the same plane.

That TBA space looks like the perfect fit to showcase the Starfield Tile Mats and half a dozen new SW Dice Bags.

That's not funny.

I didn't even think of Armada. Maybe we'll get to see how big the ships are! On the other hand, it'll probably take up much of that space, making our dear Gozanti a little less likely.

Not at all - Armada has its own shelf in the display.
