Edited by SoontirbeblownupI asked my regular gaming group what game they would like to play this Saturday. The response, "X-wing x-wing x-wing"... and we have been playing x-wing since Jan 2013.
Nothing wrong with that! having it as fave game for over a year seems ok to me... 40k still played pretty much every week at ours
You see a highway sign with a left turn arrow on it and wonder if it's a 1- 2- or 3-turn.
Yes, I did this.
Edited by PygonOne of the exits from our local mall has a lane from which you can turn left, go straight or turn right. One day I pointed out the icon on the sign to my son and said "Look, Boost!"
Am glad it's not just something I do then!
How about seeing this and think "please let it be a green K-Turn!"

When someone at work says they are stressed you reply: No actions for you my friend.
Edited by Scurvy LobsterI drive past this logo on a sign every morning on the way to work and wonder when Wave 4 will be here.

I got asked the other day if I was stressed out, nearly answered with "cool a free focus!" am doing this sort of thing too often now, am not playing as Soontir Fel for a while see if I recover
Wife asks me to take out the trash. I say, "I spend my evade."
While driving home from work the other day I was assigning stats and actions bars to all of the cars I saw. I may or may not have been pretending that I was flying an A-Wing. I was half way through designing maneuver dials in my head and was just thinking about pilot skill and abilities when I realized I had a problem. I stopped, but now every time I get in my car...I can't help it!
The amount of times I've wished my car had heavy laser cannons is untrue
We have a great tradition in our store. If a player talks smack to another (typically friends) someone says, "shots fired, roll attack dice!" So, they roll it off with attack and evade dice.
When you see initials like PTL or DTF you think of X-wing.

I saw a similar sign while driving late at night, and the X-wing reverie it inspired caused me to run a red light! At least there were no collisions or I'd have lost more than my actions!
Edited by ParakitorWhen you look at your GF bo*bs and you say to yourself... "Oh sh*t I am facing 2 proton torpedoes!" Haahaha.. Yes it did happened to me this morning! :-P
When instead of saying "calm down" you say "take a green manuever."
This game has consumed my life, I bought another game at the same time called Deadzone by Mantic, a skirmish game and I had started to paint up the mini. Then I got X-Wing, can not even think of playing anything else, if I'm not playing I'm working out lists, if I'm not doing that I'm on here. I got it bad man!
My girlfriend shook me awake the other night saying she couldn't sleep because I kept talking. Groggily, I asked what I was saying.
"A-Wing and B-Wing, over and over..."
...Guess there's a downside to mentally writing lists to fall asleep...

One time I simply said to a friend who said he was stressed, "Just do a green maneuver..."
I had a girl text me" DTF?" and I was confused why she was texting me about Draw Their Fire.

It stands for something else?
You get on the on ramp and as you accelerate, you imagine you're an Interceptor pilot throttling out of a tight spot.
When your lady [or Man] refers to themselves as a "Wing Widow" and you draw the cards for damage.
