Inside Classroom curses at the event I or II (one of them) the temperature of the freezer changes and anyone within the freezer takes damage.
This condiction can occurs with no one inside the freezer and the freezer's door is still locked.
Can I deal damage on an investigator after this event in the moment the freezer's door is opened?

No, it's instantaneous. If they're in the freezer, they'll get hit with a cold spike. After this event, the freezer equilibrates again.

I ran this not long ago aswell and they actually cleared the freezer and left before it cold spiked.
That is not all that went a bit silly with this scenario:
Also the Investigators killed the named witch really fast in the end, making the appearance of the MiGo rather silly, he popped in, noticed the witch was dead, and popped out. And thus the Investigators won. Rather anticlimactic!
