NPCs/monsters and stress/fatigue recovery

By Ambivalent Badger, in WFRP Rules Questions

My question has its origin in two simple facts about WFRP3

  1. Most NPCs and monsters do not suffer stress or fatige, but convert these into an appropriate number of wounds.
  2. Several in-game mechanics allow for the recovery of stress and fatigue - boon rolls, rally steps, talents, etc. - and at least some of these can apply to NPCs and monsters.

What, then, happen if an effect is triggered that allow the aformentioned entities such a recovery? Do they instead recover wounds? And in which cases should these factors apply?

Monsters have the option of losing their A/C/E dice for extra maneuvers or for stress/fatigue as well. That's the mechanic I'd apply either direction for recovery. (Player's Guide)

Fair enough, thaks for the reply. The issue seems to be a lot simpler than I had anticipated.

Yup, when a NPC etc. rolls a pair of boons and I don't have another effect for them I restock their appropriate A or C pool.

Also remember these refresh completely at rally steps.
