Starting fate points

By WeedyGrot, in Rogue Trader Gamemasters

If a character was to roll only one Fate Point on their character creation and then were to select a birthright that causes them to lose one Fate Point permanently does that mean they have no Fate Points and do not gain Righteous Fury?

Upon checking the rules for fate points and the rules for righteous fury, I don't see anything requiring anyone to have fate points in order to get righteous fury.

I may be wrong, though.

Characters doesn't get Touch by fates trait.

Their source of fate points and righteous fury is diffrent case and as so even PC without fate points at the end of creaton shall have access to righteous fury.

What he said.

Righteous Fury has nothing to do with Fate Points when it comes to Player Characters.

Touched by Fates gives NPC's Fate Points and Righteous Fury, but there's (afaik) no relation between the two.

I couldn't see the connection either but Touched by the Fates seemed to imply they were linked. Thanks for the quick answers despite me posting in Gamemasters rather than Rules Questions.
