"Angevin - good to hear you are alright ! The governess is save, the palace is under control again. My found found another dozen or so of this foul creatures. The viceroy is alright - it seems like he managed to get to a safe place in time."

The bodies give no further clues, besides that they are heavily scarred like the faces behind the masks.

"I'm not sure I trust any of the authority on the world at the moment. Don't mention me or my comrades to anyone yet. Keep this line open, I'll call right back"

I quickly send an update via Vox to our transport ship, and then I open a line to Reginald

"Reginald, I'm thinking about operating undercover. I'll have myself reported as killed, and leave some of my gear behind. Then I'll go light and stay in touch, and you can use me as an undercover resource

"Courze, listen carefully. Whoever did this isn't going to stop with the Governor. I'm going to try and operate beneath their view. Have me reported as dead, and mention that implicitly to any authority figures you encounter. I'll keep in contact with both you and Reginald. Now, who runs the food supply for Novabella herself? Is it the AgriHarvest society? The heretic I questioned mentioned eating."

As I'm talking to him, I pull off my armour, and dress the captured heretic in it, and then light the body on fire with my laspistol.
I gather up my remaining 5 frags, and 4 kraks on their belts, wrap his robe up into a bundle around them, and my laspistol, and strap them to my back, and start trying to sneak out of the palace. If that would be too difficult, I'll use my grapnel to repel down the outside.

I'm leaving behind my Grenade Launcher, Hellgun, the main Vox, and my sword.

I'm not sure that you'd have a line to Reginald, but he did send his servo skull out to inform you that he and Camyll went to chase someone into the servants quarters. So, assume Angevin knows that and that he is able to leave a recording for Reginald on the servo skull.

Reginald pulls out the important looking letters in the bag. He notes in a report how many letters were found, discluding the important ones and several others in order to avoid suspicion. Reginald opens each of the letters and begins to study them as he and Camyll begin to return to the governor's mansion. What do the letters say?

The signal to the spaceship seems to be disturbed. You cannot get any clear word towards the ship...

The palace and the area around it seem to be cleared.

On your patrol, you find footsteps that seem to belong to the heretics. They came from the area behind the servants entrance. Thats probably the place they came in.

The door shows no signs of damage or used force.

A loud explosion gets your attention.

Some tracks from a car and an motorcycle lead into some near fields, where you can see the smoke of said explosion.

Hoping that the explosion was my companions blowing up some bad guys, I will carefully follow the steps.

Following the steps for a while, you reach a motorcycle that had been dropped down, a guy reading letters (Reginald) and one guy bleeding heavily (Camyll). A pickup lies on its side, burning out.

"Any good intel comrades?" Teagan says to Reginald and Camyll.

Reginald stands up, disturbed by the content of the letters. He stows them away and turns to Teagan.

"Where is Angevin? Where have you two been? I...I must have you fill out a report on your doings..."

Reginald turns to see Camyll lying on the ground bleeding. He is unfortunately unable to treat his wounds at this time (only one first aid check every 24 hours). Reginald tells Camyll to get up, that they will find treatment soon. Suddenly, Reginald's eyes grow wide.

"The governess! We must secure the governess! She has knowledge of what has happened!"

Reginald hops into the motorbike, waiting to be driven back to the governor's palace.

Teagan says, "Angevin is with her and I was following the footsteps of the invaders which led me here."

"Hang in their Camyll." Teagan says as he lends a hand to help him stand on his feet.

Camyll supports himself on Teagan's shoulders and starts walking towards the motorbike.

"We have to get back." -Says, grumbling-. "This f**** world is rotten, and we have work to do."

"Also, I need somebody to extract this **** from my body. But first the Governess and my armor."

You quickly drive back (with Teagan running behind you ?).

As you return, you find the governess guarded by Crouze and his men.

Angevin seems gone, but Reginald finds his message.

Out in the streets, I'lm going to try and find transport to an outlying AgriHarvest Storage location, and scope it out from a distance for a while
