Fulcrum

By gertat, in Warhammer Invasion Rules Questions

Think I have sen the answer to this question before but cant find the answer.

If you have à fulcrum and à card like Outlying Tower. http://deckbox.org/whi/Outlying%20Tower do you lose the tower?

Can you destroy à Fulcrum?

FAQ:

All instances of “If you control a non- [faction] card...” should read “If you control a faceup non-[faction] unit or support card...
No, but as for now Beastman Incursion can sacrifice it.

Feel stupid cause I asked à simular qustion and got the same answer.

Sorry.

But when your gaming community for WHI consists of 2 people you dont se the obvious answer.

Thanks

Tomorrow we are going to attract new player by inviting people to learn the game.

Hahaha with our knowledge gaps but hopefully growing knowledge of the game

Yesterday we played Cataclysm for the first time.

Introduced 2 new players.

We played 2 rounds 4 player - all out war.

What à great game. Really really funny.

We played Chaos - Dark Elf - High Elf - Empire.

Chaos took the victory both times.

We played à little wrong that we think made a lot of impact on the outcome.

But what à fun night.

Despite a lot of damage to the Chaos players zones, he won the game.

Playing with homemade capitalboards with art from Gnomeschool

Edited by gertat

Where did you get those awesome capital boards?

In the Winvasion podcast in episode 2 I think they talked about that Gnomeschool hade made alternative art for capitalboards.

If you go to their homepage you can download the art.

There is I think 4 pikturens for each faction.

I printed 2 for each faction in a size a little smaller than a regular A4 paper.

Put two against one another and laminated them together.

So they are dobblesided.

The size is because I think the original capitalboards is a bit to small if you want to get room for a Legend, damagemarkers, Fulcrums and resources.

Another question about Fulcrums

If the Orc player has Boar Pen in play and attacks a players Fulcrum and that player has no develepments.

Does the defending player get to defend?

Is the attack on a Fulcrum just like any other attack?

http://deckbox.org/whi/Boar%20Pen

Edited by gertat

Yep, no devs, no defense, pigs eat you alive.

If the defending unit that may not defend is channeling the fulcrum while getting attacked, what happens to the unit.

Does it just end up in the battlefield or is it destroyed?

The unit must defend, if able.

With Boar Pen and no devs it is not able, so it doesn't.

Figured that much.

But if It's channeling and cant defend. What happens to it then when the fulcrum is removed and played at the attacking players battlefield

Nothing, it stays in the defender's battlefield :P

Thanks again
