Hey OggDude! Awesome to see you back!

I haven't looked at it yet, but have you implemented the following new features?

  • The Battle Scars from Forged in Battle.
  • Adding a single Hard Point to an item, vehicle, or ship by selecting Reverse Engineering when rolling a Triumph while performing a engineering focused skill check on it (Fully Operational, page 71). For this one I was going to try to make a 0 HP attachment applicable once to anything in the equipment section, that would add a hard point and call it simply, "Reverse Engineered". Now that we can create attachments again, I will have to try it out until you implement it.

I added "Reverse Engineering" as an attachment for weapons, armor, gear, and vehicles. Any item can use it, and it adds 1 to HP and that's all.

I haven't done anything with "rewards" (I think each career book has its own version). I'm going to have to look over all the different iterations and find some commonality. I have enough examples now :)

As always, a big thanks.

And now, a suggestion- How difficult would it be to somehow allow for a rarity of “unique” or “one of a kind?” It would be applied to specialized items like, say, the Darksaber or Warrde’s holocron or lightsaber, but would be even handier when adding custom unique items.

It should be there.

It's there. You probably just have to select "Fully Operational" as a source using the Options button at the top.

Great job as always Ogg, just checking. Did you see the bugs I posted on page 388, not my big long post but the one that starts off about Unmatched inginuity?

I haven't had a chance to look at it yet but has anyone noticed if the critical wound talents from forged in battle have been added?

Where is this, and what is this?

I believe he is referingnto the battle scars section at the end of forged in battle.

Minor bug: The Ex-Military background has only Fly Casual as a source, it also appeared in Dangerous Covenants.

That's what I assumed at least.

OggDude thank you for your hard work. I have been using your program for years at this point and have never had any real issues.

Just a quick question. Am I the only one that cannot seem to craft Melee/Brawl weapons or Lightsabers? I posted my error report previously along with a screen shot.

If there is something I did wrong no problem but I would love to know what I could have done. If more information is need I am more than willing to supply anything that maybe needed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I fixed that. You should still be able to do it. You just need to select another template, then select the one you want again. Then it should work. The problem was that it wasn't immediately initializing the template when you changed item types. Now it does.

I noticed that you cannot add attachments to lightsabers or even designate what crystal is inside your lightsaber. Is this from one of the books that has not been implemented yet, or is it something that just wasn't added in? I'm currently only using the non-Pre-Release version, what is it, 2.2.1.1?

Select a hilt instead of a lightsaber. (Ex: basic lightsaber hilt instead of basic lightsaber.) The lightsabers display the baseline stats from the books, which assume a standard Ilum crystal with no additional mods. The hilts are comepletely empty, ready for crystal and other mods.

I am necroing an earlier comment, sorry. But, I wanted to ask if adding the different mentorship bonuses from disciples of harmony would be difficult codewise.

P.S. Apparently it wasn't an error with shock boots, I must have gotten the item mixed up, my bad.

Ogg, Reinforced Armor Plating has an error, you have 3 Increases Hull Trauma by 1 Mods where the attachment has 2 Increase Hull Trauma by 3 mods.

The main thing I want seen added is the spin saber used by the inquisitors which was added in the profile of the main villain from Ghosts of Dathimir and in the inquisitors profile in Dawn of the Rebellion. I did do some work on tweeking it to match if you want I can share the data from that saber as a base to edit to your hearts content Oggy.

Regarding FFG's Genesys RPG, which uses most of the character creation system of SW, do you think you will make the character creator Genesys compatible? AFIK, the main differences in character creation is that Talents are free form instead of in trees but you must have 1 less number of talents in the previous tier then then the tier you want to buy a talent for and some are ranked (can be bought multiple times, increasing by 1 tier each time to a max of tier 5). There are also four types of "Motivations" instead of one. There may be a few other minor differences but that seems to be most of it.

Thanks for considering this

Weeee! Excited to see this. I've sent you some PM's (mostly on bigtent) if you needed any help. @OggDude

Hi there. I'm encountering a bug with the encounter sheets. Basically, the first minion in any group has one too many wound points. For instance, if it were a squad of 5 Wound adversaries, there would be five squares, then a circle, then four more square and a circle etc.

Mentoring and career rewards are two of the main features I haven't implemented yet.

Thanks mate, and keep up the hard work.

hey there - probably a dumb question, but I used the Data Editor to create a modified version of an implant one of my players wants but I don't seem to be able to then access it via the Character Generator. I saved the changes I made, but do I need to Import/Export or similar to get it to show up?

thanks in advance - and, once again, @OggDude , you rock.

Nevermind, I was creating it in the wrong dataset. All good now :)
