@OggDude Well, the checkbox changes nothing for me. I also tried it in english and french, with checked and unchecked box ... Everything changed, except the ability's abbreviations in the chargen's skills-list.

Also, you might perhaps add a hint that even the launcher has to be restarted to let the translation take effect in the CharGen too. -It's confusing since the launcher itself changes the language instantly.

Hi @OggDude

getting the following error message when i try to add a new "Item attachment" in the data editor. Have removed all custom datasets and restarted and still get the same error. I have the 2.2.1.1 version installed on Windows 10 64 bit.

Just coming to post the same thing. It was working just fine last night, and now got the "improperly formatted" error. Working from the web install. Had the thought to go reinstall it, and got a message that the bandwidth had been exceeded. I wonder if that might be the culprit; maybe with the bandwidth exceeded, the web install can't check for updates and stalls?

That made me think that a workaround might be effective. I know I've used the software when not connected to the internet before. So, i turned off wifi and tried to open the launcher, but it didn't open. :blink:

Better luck than me. I've tried it about a dozen times with no joy. And, a new campaign starting Saturday, with my character stuck in the generator.

I believe that the self-updating version's host has reached the data cap. When I attempted to download a fresh version of the auto-updating file I got a "data cap reached" error from the site.

That would also seem to match the people that can get it to launch off-WiFi.

It appears that pCloud has a 25 GB/day and 500 GB/month bandwidth cap. The stats page is confusing, as it's telling me that its getting low, but then another part says I'm at 531 GB...

Anyway... I'll look into raising the cap.

Minor spelling error: BR-219 Heavy Blaster pistol says "GM may spend [THREAT][THREAT] to damage weapon one step., GM may spend [DESPAIR] to cause weapon to meltdown and expload, destroying weapon and causing base damage to wielder."

Fullstop followed by comma, plus I didn't know 'expload' was a thing.

You've got the web install version, which is checking for updates on launch. OggDude's data host has reached its transfer cap, which prevents the software from properly checking for updates and results in the error. In the meantime, while OggDude looks into getting the transfer cap raised, some have had success with disconnecting from the internet, then launching the software.
