Superior does not require a hit to generate the advantage, but the Bantha's Eye does.

Just wanted to ask around if anyone else has had this problem. My version 2.2.0.0 won't print at all. It'll load the "Print" screen and everything, but when I go to print to pdf, it does not give me a prompt for a save location and simply stops doing anything. (The program doesn't crash, it just acts like the print job doesn't exist).

i have a question for the maker of this fine generator . in my group the gm has granted me a signature ability for my soldier . he told me to pick the one i liked .

now here is the question . how can i add that superior ability to my character in the generator .

i am playing as a heavy commando and i have chosen the bigger they are ability . i am using a copy of that page and i keep my XP that i used on it on the unused spot .

okay found it , went to gen data editor and edited the tree so that it would work for me , bye setting it to 1 row and removed the starting xp of it

thanks for the great tool.

But I found a mistake:

The Armor Attachments from "keeping the peace" are using the wrong stats (looks like a little Hickup while writing the list)

Low friction Coating should cost 750 credit and need 1 hardpoint while having 0 encumbarance and rarety (here you used the same stats as the kirium coatin 2500 crd 2 HP and 1 Enc ans rare:7)

Quick Shed should cost 900 credits and rarety 4 (here you used the 750 of the low friction)

Reactive Plating should be 2 HP not 4 ( mistake in the original list - the 2 is stated the stated in the full text - otherwise no armor could use the upgrade)

Hey @OggDude - it looks like several bows don't have the "Bow" category assigned to them, but should. They are:

• Corellian Compound Bow
• Corellian Compound Bow (Explosive Tipped)
• Corellian Compound Bow (Stun)
• FS19 Compound Bow (Broadhead Arrow)
• FS19 Compound Bow (Stun Arrow)
• FS19 Compound Bow (Net Arrow)
• FS19 Compound Bow (Incendiary Arrow)
• FS19 Compound Bow (Explosive Tipped Arrow)
• Kyuzo Energy Bow
• Long Bow

(In fact, the only bow with the Bow category is the Nightsister Energy Bow.)

Incidentally, I also think the Custom Grip attachment should be applicable to bows, as they have grips and handles that you hold 'em by. I'm adding that to my copy, but hey, if you want to add it to the base data, I'll be happy.

I just started having this problem out of the blue. Did you figure out a solution?

This sounds like a printer problem. Not a problem with the program. As it just hands off to the windows printer subsystem.

It can't be a printer problem, because I can print to pdf just fine with version 1.8.

It still can be a printer problem because this program does not handle the printing. Check the pdf printer. As I am using the current version and am able to print on multiple computers. So the more likely culprit is something got screwed up in your pdf printer. Because what you describe is a problem with the print subsystem. not this program. I used to troubleshoot this kind of thing all the time. Often I just reinstalled the pdf printer and the problem would be fixed.

I don't think you understand. I just re-installed version 1.8 on my PC and it prints just fine from there. 2.2 does not print at all. Nothing has changed with my print subsystem. The only difference is the version of the CC that I'm using. If nothing in the program changed between 1.8 and 2.2 to impact this problem, then why can I print from 1.8 and not 2.2? If the interaction on the program's side is identical in both versions (as you seem to be assuming), then it should be broken on both versions, or work on both versions. This is not the case.

I understand just fine. But I also know the print function is handled by windows. I do IT for a living. This is a common problem. Reinstall the pdf printer and I am sure it will straighten things out. At the point you are talking about having issues is in windows code.

Nope, didn't work. Removed Adobe PDF from my printer list, re-installed by following the instructions here: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1076693 . Printer re-installed fine. Went into OggDude's CC Release 2.2.0.0, tried to print... and nothing. Gets all the way to the little dialogue box saying its processing the pages, but it doesn't prompt me for a save location / filename, then it just closes and nothing happens. Checked with Release 1.8.0.0, printing still works fine with the re-installed Adobe PDF.

can you print to a printer?
Also can you print to it from other apps?
And how are you checking with other releases? Cause It is possible having both installed is causing issues...

Unfortunately, I am not currently hooked up to an actual printer (and I don't have one available for this PC).

To answer your other questions, yes, I can use Print to PDF from other apps without any issue. Only CC Release 2.2.0.0 has this problem. However, 2.2 can print to Microsoft XPS Document Writer (although the quality is garbage) - so it's something odd in the print window I think. (In 1.8, clicking the little printer icon in the top left of the print preview immediately brings up a prompt to choose a save filename/location; this does not happen with 2.2). Also, I don't think it's an issue with having multiple releases on the same PC, as prior to this issue I only ever had one release installed. The problem started after switching to 2.2 from 1.8 (which overwrote 1.8). I didn't re-install 1.8 until later when I was trying to figure the problem out.

What method are you using to install it?

Direct download (desktop version), then extract to a folder. And before you ask, I have tried deleting everything and re-downloading from scratch (besides the saved app-data & characters, ofc).

try the web install. It works better and keeps itself updated.

You might like to try a different PDF printer. I use PDFCreator: http://www.pdfforge.org/pdfcreator

Hi I got a problem that some bought weapons show up without stats in the fringed app do you guys know what I'm doing wrong ?

I uninstalled and re-installed my PDF printer and it works again. I also use PDF creator and it has (other than this moment) been great.

That is probably due to the fact that the current version of the App is not fully compatible with the latest SWCharGen, so the App's installed DataSet does not contain the information about the items.

If they are custom made items, this feature is also not supported by the current App.

I am working on an update which should solve these problems.

Still not working. And before you ask, I'm not going to install a whole new pdf printer which includes ads just to make pdfs with one currently broken program. Especially since it works fine with 1.8, and literally everything else on my PC. Like I said, I'm still pretty convinced that there's something different in the 2.2 release compared to 1.8 which is causing this problem. Alternatively, it's a problem with the installation of the program (and the issue is when I upgraded versions).

EDIT: I've also re-installed my Adobe PDF Creator twice now, still nada.

What makes you think it includes ads? It doesn't. It just automatically updates. Maybe try not being hostile to someone trying to help.
