I just want to say that I really appreciate your work with the Star Wars Character Generator. It is so awesome!

But, I was wondering if there will be any updates to it in the future? Just wondering, no preasure or anything, I just want to know if I should start updating the database myself with new items or wait for you to publish a new version. :-)

It appears to just h heavy traffic to his Dropbox (the error message that I got said that they were disabled because the user's links were generating too much traffic.

I think I've still got the 1.8 beta installer on my laptop. (I'm posting from my phone at the moment.) When I'm able, I'll double check and if so, post it to myswrpg.com.

Unfortunately I can only agree. I would however say two things:

1) Never tell me the odds

2) Rebellions are built on hope

I don't have a gmail account. I am sure he just got busy with work and holidays and such. I hope he is doing well and cannot wait for the next big update to the generator. I only hope it is soon. Who knows maybe his silence means it will be a complete overhaul and maybe it will work on other platforms or mac and such.

I've install a new printer but when I try to print character sheets it give a message that it can't access my old printer.

You need to reinstall the program. Make sure to export all of your characters first as well so you can re-import them when the new version is installed. Same thing happened to a friend of mine and that was the only solution we could find.

at the top of the print preview screen, left hand corner, there is a printer icon, when you click on that it should open a select printer option. That is a default windows form so all the printers should be in there.

create a new folder somewhere on your computer. If your not sure where just use the desktop. Name the folder "FFG Star Wars Character Gen" (or whatever you want it to be). Then open Ogg's archive. Select everything inside and drag and drop it into the folder you created. Luanch the app with the "SWCharGenLuancher.exe" and that is it.

For windows anyway I dont think it works on Win 10 but I use it on Win 7 and it is fine.
