Thanks for the tip, but I've tried opening the launcher while my anti-virus (NOD32) is off and still got nothing.

Check the application event logs right after trying to open it.

I think Oggdude is going to have to figure this one out. That looks like windows is forcing it to crash.

Have you tried running it as Administrator.

The web installer doesn't work for me, it takes too much time downloading the data.

I am getting the same issue. Windows is just hanging each time I try to update.

This is on my work laptop. Work has blocked the Web Installer Unless anyone has a link they can offer other than here ?

Given that Belik reported the error on Feb 13 and Microsoft pushed out a .NET update around the same time, specifically "February 12, 2019—KB4483452 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.7.2 for Windows 10, version 1809 and Windows Server 2019," I would suspect they are related.

Well, I've encountered the problem a few weeks ago, so I'm not sure it's related...

I don't think it's a NET update, as my Windows10 is up-to-date and I can open and the application fine. Then again, I'm using the WebInstall version, which Belik is unable to do.

I am also using the manual installation, not the web install. The update and the timing of issues just seemed too coincidental. I had updated the generator on 2/1 and I know it was working then. However, further digging showed I last run it on 2/15 after the update was installed. Just as a test, I uninstalled the update from the 12th, and it didn't change anything.

I was able to correct the issue and get it running again. I am not 100% sure on which step fixed it, but I re-download the application and uncompressed it to a different folder and ran the launcher from there. Windows reported that the program was unknown and I told Windows to run it anyway. It ran without issue. I then copied the directory from the temp location and over wrote my original installation location, being sure to replace all the existing files. Running it then worked.

I've installed it using the Web Installer (took about an hour).

Still have the same issue...

It seems to be having issues with Kernalbase.dll, have you tried reregistering it?

I've tried to reregister it but got another error message -

"The module 'KernelBase.dll' was loaded but the entry-point DllRegisterServer was not found. Make sure that 'KernelBase.dll' is a valid DLL or OCX file and then try again."

GM Grants for Specializations appear to have been broken in the latest release.

My gaming group and I noticed a few things that seem to have been overlooked in previous releases.

The lightsaber crafting templates from Keeping the Peace for the Temple Guard Lightsaber Pike and the Guard Shoto.

From Beyond the Rim , there where two ISB Supervisors, Cal Alsen and Liers Ossnan. You only included one of them in the adversaries in the GM Tools

From The Jewel of Yavin , some of the racers were missing from the list of adversaries in the GM Tools.

Really loving the vehicle crafting, but I think that if you are customizing an existing craft that it should include the original value of the craft in the total. If you pay 30,000 credits for a cloud car and pay additional credits to rebuild the engines and the hull, its final value should be higher than the original, not less.

Looking forward to the next release and eventually what you mentioned below.
