What do you mean? You can create any type of character you want. You don't need available XP. Just make the characteristics and skills whatever you want.
Found a bug. When you equip the Protector 1 combat armor to a character the program doesn't add the armor's encumbrance value of 2 to the total encumbrance of the character being equipped with it.

I'm not familiar with that armor. Does it have a special trait to have encumbrance while equipped (worn)? Armor doesn't count against your encumbrance if it is being worn.Found a bug. I was unaware of the rule for -3 encumbrance for armor when its worn. Thanks. I need to read the rule book a bit closer next time.

There's also a data editor that would let you create species, careers, specializations, talents, weapons, etc etc...
I haven't used Ogg's tools much yet and I have a question and I suppose a request if there is no way to do this yet.

What you do is create the minion in the adversary creator. Then you go into the encounter creator and add them to an encounter and set the number of them. Then you print that encounter. You will have check boxes that you check off with a change in the check box at the threshold levels.

As for fonts, the computery-looking one is Teuton, the main text is Candara, and most of the headers are Arial Black. Teuton is actually contained in a resource, as it's the only non-standard font that I use. The rest should come with Windows.

My intent was to create a nice-looking, easy to read character sheet with everything you need on four basic sheets (main character, social, talents/abilities, and equipment), plus trees and spill-over sheets. My goal wasn't to put as much information on a single sheet as possible, since while it might be more compact, it isn't necessarily easier to use.
That said, I am thinking about including a one- or two-page summary sheet for printing characters that will be used for convention play, for instance, or for one-shot adventures, something like the pregen sheets in the basic game. They would only support a limited number of items, such as a handful of talents, one or two obligations/duty, a few pieces of gear, and maybe only important skills, or skills with ranks. They wouldn't be appropriate for campaign characters with boatloads of gear, or three trees-worth of talents.
As for the format, I haven't really done much research. But I have looked at a variety of homebrew character sheets to get some ideas. So, when I'm ready to actually plunge in and do this, I'll be asking for opinions
I understand your explanation. However, in my honest ignorance I thought that would be easy to include JediHamlet's character sheet as a print option considering that he has already done the designing and managed to include al lot of information in only 2 pages. I believed it was just a matter on adapting the design to yout generator and was not asking you to do something similar as he has already done so.
I ask that because my players would get confused if they work with 4 pages character sheets and they'd rather have a fully-packed-with-information 2 pages sheet.

As of now, you have to goto GMTools and create the droid there as a nemesis or some other type of NPC. I did that for my Astromech droid "Pips"

it would be nice if someone made a viewer for androiid and ipad. I currently print a pdf and use that to view the sheet on my tablet during game. Works great.
Hey, a minor quibble. Can you please make the Character Generator Splash Screen to be modeless, so that it doesn't stay up in front of all other application while loading?

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
Bug - There seems to be a problem with one of the adversaries, Elaiza, Jedi in Exile, from Jewel of Yavin. Here are the details of the Unhandled exception error;

Cool, I had missed that it had been raised as this thread isn't the easiest to keep track of. Perhaps we should start a new thread for bug reports and another for suggestions?

I'm pretty sure the vast majority of us view all of the Star Wars forums no matter which specific version we are interested in.
