OK, I think I figured out why 64-bit Windows was having an issue with the install. I had included both 32- and 64-bit DLLs for SQL Server Compact, but they were from two different versions. When I replaced the interface DLL with the version that came with the 64-bit install, the 32-bit install wasn't working. Unfortunately, I can't test the 64-bit install. However, both sets of DLLs are now from the same install package and have the same version. So, it should now work.

Please wait about 10 minutes or so for the deployment to be finished, then you can download the new release.

Edit: DropBox is finished. Google Drive takes forever, for some reason. It still has a ways to go

I don't think this will work (see my previous post), but try removing those seven DLLs and see what happens. I have a feeling you'll still have problems, but it's worth testing

Ah, criminy. I had to remove the reference to the database and add it again, which then reset the interface DLL back to being a prerequisite (which is why it yelled at you). I have to, yet again, turn that off.

Anyway, I re-published the install, so you should be good to go. DropBox says it has a minute to go, so give it 5 Oh, and this only applies to the web install, not the manual install.

hmmm.. Actually no. I read this post and jumped over and did the update. Once complete the Editor worked great but the Character and Encounters wouldn't start, instead they crashed on launch, from the launcher or the the exe.

I just went back and reloaded the previous version and everything works...data is there too.

And I am using the manual install..

I like that you now include bonus Advantage symbols on the skill dice column for certain races or whatever.

What about doing the same for the weapons shown on the same page (superior and laser scope each add one)?

That's basically what it is now. It'll show up in the "Special" area as "add an advantage to successful combat rolls", but won't show the advantage symbol in the dice pool.

I opened up the program and it said, "Hey, you don't have the latest program, do you want to download it?" I said yes, and it did, then it popped up with that error. I downloaded a new Web Install and when I ran setup.exe it verified application requirements then popped up with the same error, "Application cannot be started. Contact the application vendor." It doesn't give me the option of installing into a different directory.

I hate to be "that guy", but does anyone have any of the data files that I can import? I know it doesn't come with the download and I know you can go in yourself and edit each entry, which I have no issue doing, but it would be easier to just import the file if someone already has it. Even just the core book so I can quickly understand this game.

Huh? All of the downloads have the base EotE data, and you can import all of the adversaries from the import directories after you download it. What are you asking for?

I think he's asking for the Description data so he doesn't have to enter it all himself.
