I made a house rule for single banes/boons based on eote.
A single boon can be used to give a misfortune die to someone where it makes sense. This option can only be picked once, but it means you can always use a single boon.
A single bane can add a misfortune die to your next action.
On top of that I changed assess the situation to also recover a wound. I think I'll make an advances assess the situation where three+ successes allow you to recover a wound. Or perhaps just allow three+ successes to heal a wound on the regular card. Perhaps allow a wound healed for each sigmars comet as well.
