Ok. I played this game with some friends for the first time (friend's copy) on Tuesday and we were having some questions about Newspaper Reports. The version of the game we have has the (left-most) clause on the card and from what we see on the errata sheet in the box and in the rulebook, everything on the trail line is from Dracula's point of view and the Leftmost card on the trail is his current location or did we have that backwards the whole game?

It refurs to the left most from the hunters perspective and the right most from Dracula's perspectiive.

There are several printings of the game and at least 3 different versions of Newspaper Reports. The general concensus is that NR reveals the "oldest, unrevealed location" on Dracula's trail. That would be the location on Dracula's right, or the Hunter's left. It would be the location closest to falling off the end of the track, however if that location is already known it would be the next oldest, etc.

Some printings of the card contain the word unrevealed , some do not.
