Unpainted Models

By Hordeoverseer, in Dust Warfare General Discussion

Hello,

I've checked out the Core set for Dust tactics and see that both sides models come pre-coloured with grey and green to differentiate both sides. Personally, I appreciate that and it sort of has a toy soldier appeal to it. And I can't paint to save me. But I'm wondering with the other models that you buy seperately, do they have that colourization? Or are they all just generic pewter colour regardless of the side? This would help on my purchace decision, thanks!

Allied models come in that olive green, Axis models come in panzer grey, and SSU models come in a sort of dull yellow tan (which is actually summer uniform Soviet green). All of it is essentially primer; painting them is really easy - there are plenty of tutorials to chose from, and these are military models, whichs means they don't have very many colors (unless you're nutty about it and go cammo - but you don't have to), and the paints can be pretty darn cheap. Mine are >$1 paints from Wal-Mart, for pete's sake.
