How do you handle healing?

So it's clearly written that each character can benefit from only one Healing Draught a day.

But what about First Aid checks? How many per day/session/encounter do you allow? And does this include the First Aid check you do to a character that is attempting a resilience check?

I don't know, what is written in the rules, but what my group does for a long time in all systems we play, is that a new first aid check is only possible if you have suffered a new wound. The idea being: If you treated a wound, you did all you can. But a new wound can be treated again.

I play rules as written: You can only benefit from one type of healing per day. That includes first aid. New wounds re-open old wounds in my opinion, hence they're not eligible for re-rolls.

Also, I only allow ONE use of Assess the situation per encounter and one outside of encounter. That way the PCs tend to be walking around a little twitchy and tired if they're thinking they're going to pull an all-nighter ;)

Yup, like Emerikol/Jay says above. One First Aid, Medicine, @ type of blessing, draught a day.

caveats - unsuccessful uses (a healing draught all blanks) do not count, as you didn't "benefit".

This is "per day" when days passing to prevent spam healing.

Rules specifically state that for First Aid you can benefit each Act you get wounded in.
